Blood dripped from Lorelei Ackroyd's fingertips like water droplets from a turned off faucet. The knife dropped to the floor, a ringing subduing the silence, it sounded of the church bells on a bright Sunday morning. She covered her ears and dropped onto her knees, sobbing quietly.
She had dreamed about death for the longest time, she had dreamed about taking the light from someone's eyes. It was a thought for a moment. Thoughts turned to questions, questions turned to dreams, and her dreams became reality.
But when she finally got to experience it ( and mind you, it wasn't an accident ) it turned herinto something she couldn't even recognize.
"That's it." she whispered, her head facing the floor in despair. Tears stained her cheeks and created small puddles on the hardwood floor. Her fingers traced circles against it as her sadness faded and a new, unknown emotion flooded in.
"She's gone"
