"Was that really Lee Donghyuck right there?"

Jeongin merely whispered to me, not able to understand if the interaction really had happened or not. His blanc expression told me that he had so many questions, but wasn't able to form a single one of them as so many kept wandering around at the same time.

"Yupp", I simply chuckled, brushing a strand of hair behind my ear. "The one and only."

The student started scratching his neck, still looking off into the distance where the famous gang member had dissappeard a moment ago.
I understood why he was this shocked.
The first time we had run into each other in school, there had been nothing but disgust and annoyance in his eyes- his attitude showing that he clearly saw himself above everyone else.

It was hard to believe that someone with such an intimidating and threatening aura was able to change within seconds and make everyone wonder if that was the same person.
Jeongin admitted it, again starting to play with his empty soda can while furrowing his eyebrows.

"I didn't expect him to be that nice... I kind of had differend memories of him in my head."

"Well", I sight loudly, resting my ellbow on the bar while the light smile from before hadn't faded away yet. "People can change and he's definitely anything but intimidating once you get to know him."

Thinking about it, the other DRGNS would've probably yelled at me, if they had heard that sentence.
Not everyone, but definitely enough of them to make me feel aweful and misunerstood.
It was a blessing that my friends supported my decisions and even if I'd turn out to be wrong, I had to take the risk and do what made me feel the happiest.

In that case it was Donghyuck.

"I still remember him from school and it's kind of surprising how much he changed within only a few months. Or maybe he was always this way and I was just too scared to see it."

My body somehow shot up and I blinked at him several times without saying anything.

"Tell me a bit about him."

Curious about what Jeongin had to say, I attentively started listening while he let his head fall back, trying to recall the old times.

He hummed briefly while biting the inside of his cheeks. "He was always around the other guys, Mark Lee as their leader.
They constantly looked like they were going to kill someone, if you accidentally came too close to them."
