Aiden's POV.

I was utterly confused.

The moment Luna stepped inside the hallway I was overwhelmed with so many emotions I didn't understand.

The whole moment was a big blur and when she looked me in the eye, my body stopped working.

She had changed so much, yet she was still the same. It didn't make any sense.

A few hours ago I was laying in the living room when I suddenly heard the sound of a breaking glass.

I headed towards the sound and saw a shocked Isaac. His eyes found mine and he just simply smiled at me.

Is this the day he completely lost his mind?

He talked for a few more minutes while I cleaned his mess.

Isaac hung up the phone. I wanted to ask what that was all about, but he was ahead of me.

He ordered me to get everyone together in the living room.

"What's this all about," Kayden hissed.

What twisted his knickers this time.

"She's found." Isaac said with a grin.

He didn't have to tell her name, we knew exactly who he was talking about.

"I swear to God Isaac this is not funny!" I snapped.

"Why the fuck would I joke about such a serious topic," he calmly replied.

"Explain." Cole demanded.

"I just got a call from an officer in Georgia, saying Luna needed a home. Her caretaker was arrested for possession of drugs. We agreed that I will become her legal guardian and that she will take the next flight home. Luna will arrive within a few hours," he finished his explanation.

Isaac's shocked expression and the broken glass in the kitchen all made sense now.

She's finally coming home. We all began losing hope after reaching dead end after dead end.

Twelve years missing is such a long time. After dad his death, I gave up thinking she was better off without us, we would only bring her in danger.

She is the youngest and the only girl in our family, this makes her the perfect target for our enemies.

Eleanor took her away for that reason. We were attacked at our home when Luna was three years old, she was almost harmed. It was the last straw, the day after she took her away without us knowing.

We all despised her for leaving us and taking our precious sister with her.

Dad lost it that day, his wife and only daughter were snatched away from him. He swore to find them again and bring them home.

This promise became the reason of his death and left us parentless.

I was snapped out of my thoughts when Cole began laughing. We were all happy we finally found her, but the pit in my stomach didn't leave.

What if she would be harmed because of us?

I couldn't live with myself if anything happened to her.

I still was overwhelmed with many emotions, most of them I didn't really understand. There was one I could identify, the urge to protect her from this cruel world.

I looked at Kayden who still hadn't said anything, I guess he was in shock. Ethan decided he would prepare her room, he had to do something to pass the time and ease his nerves.
