" THIRTY-ZERO! TAKE THAT, YOU DIRTY, CHEATING —"

It was the day of the first Gryffindor-Slytherin Quidditch match of the season, and the Gryffindor team was seated at the breakfast table. Fred and George anxiously ate the platter of scrambled eggs and bacon before them.

Betelgeuse glanced at them with a bored expression. "Stop chewing so loudly!" She ordered.

"We can't help it, Bel!" They chorused. "Why are we so nervous?" They added at once looking at each other.

"You will be fine," she tried to reassure them, "now, finish eating!"

Lee was seated with them, next to Angelina. He tried to wrap his arm around her. She shrugged him off. "Well, I tried."

"Just wait for the beginning of the game, then you will be able to use all your new moves," Betelgeuse said, smirking. Angelina groaned. Lee wrapped his arm around Betelgeuse's shoulders, she stiffened, but let him.

"Lee, I see you moved on from Angelina. Does this mean she's free?" George asked, gesturing to Lee and Betelgeuse.

Angelina interjected, "she is not interested, Weasley."

"I have not moved on. I'm still heartbroken," Lee said with dramatics.

"Are you using me, Jordan?" Betelgeuse asked the boy, eyeing him with amusement.

Lee looked confused. "I think we are over," the Black continued stoically.

Lee pretended to be distraught, clutching his chest. "My first girlfriend and we're over within less than five minutes!"

Betelgeuse rolled her eyes. "More like one minute."

"Bel and you were dating?" Fred leaned forward, trying not to look interested.

"It was amazing while it lasted," Lee responded. Betelgeuse shook her head.

They all quickly finished their breakfast and made their way to the Gryffindor Changing Room. There Oliver Wood would give his speech before heading out to the pitch at any moment now. Betelgeuse could hear the roaring of the crowd on the stands as Lee Jordan entertained the mass of people.

Wood cleared his throat to gain the attention of the team.

"Alright, lads," he began.

"And lassies," Angelina spoke, pointing to herself, Betelgeuse and Katie.

"And lassies," Wood agreed. "This is it."

"The big one," Fred interrupted.

"The one we've all been waiting for," George added. Betelgeuse snickered between the two beaters, receiving a glare from Wood.

"We know Oliver's speech by heart," Fred told Harry. "We were on the team last year."

"Think about me," Betelgeuse scoffed.

"Poor Ms Black," Fred pouted.

"Shut up, you two," replied Wood. "Betelgeuse don't encourage them!"
