Revenge (V-DEKU AU)

      "Todoroki Kun?" muttered Midoriya, with misty eyes. "It's late, why are you up?"

"I- I.." Todoroki noticed the difference in Midoriya's once gleaming eyes.

"I~ missed you.."

Izuku's eyes full of hatred and tears, widened and then squinted.

"Like you didn't turn me in too." he scoffed.

Todoroki flinched at his tone of voice. He sounded very broken. Not like the Midoriya who told him that his power was his own, and saved him from his demons.

"I didn't. I told them you were innocent. I knew you would never do something like that..It has been, hard, without you around."

Izuku noticed the small tears developing in the boy's eyes. He felt a slight pang of sympathy. He flashed back to the sports festival when he saved him. This wasn't the same Todoroki. He looked tired, and sad.

"You showed me who I can be and I thank you for that. If it wasn't for you..I would probably would have never felt happy again. But well, now~"

Izuku looked down at his feet.

"Yeah, no problem." mumbled Izuku with eyes of hatred.

"I know there is nothing I can do to show that I care, but I locked myself in my bathroom for a day in a half to punish myself."

Look at you Izuku, causing harm to others with your own problems, caused by others. You really are pathetic.

"You didn't have to do that Todoroki.."

"But I l~"

Todoroki suddenly fell to the floor.

"Todoroki?" Izuku dropped down to Todoroki's side and grabbed his sleeve.

"Todoroki." He had exhausted himself from not eating or drinking.

"Shit."

Izuku panicked for a a moment. What if someone came out and though he murdered him?

In a moment of immense fear, his palms started to sweat and his heartbeat increased.

He hoisted Todoroki over his shoulder and brought him into his room. The room was dimly lit.

"Wow Todoroki..you really did let yourself go because of me. How weak."

But deep down, he respected him. He has always respected Todoroki. Even as a villain, he would never truly look down on him.

Todoroki was slowly starting to move. His eyes fluttered open soon after.

"Midoriya..I'm~You didn't~"

"Shhhh. Stop talking. Take this."  Izuku handed Todoroki a long string of gauze since he had injured himself from the fall. He felt dizzy and his hearing was cloudy.

"This stuff works well."

"I'm sorry.." was the response from the boy. He was still half out of it.

"Why are y-you still here for me even after all of this?" whimpered Todoroki as Midoriya wrapped the gauze around his arms.

"Why not." he mumbled. "I'm not a monster. But, if you try to turn me in again, I won't be so friendly. But I feel I can trust you..." Izuku wiped away his fake tears.

"I promise I will never. I would beat myself up before hurting you."

Maybe he could trust Todoroki. If he is betrayed, he can always just kill him. That sounds like a solid plan.

"What would you do if I actually was a traitor? Would you still lock me up?"

Todoroki looked confused for a second.
"It depends on what you did." he said softly.
