So my little Bo tell me how was school today?

*The tiny 3 year old looked at his only guardian with big googly eyes as his lips curved into a pleasant smile*

Teacha taut us colos... I leaant read, bulue, jellow, geen, pink and bowne

And what else did you learn? (Smiling)

I got a bubu today playing

A bubu? HUH?
(Jimin's eyes widened)
WHERE?....YOU HURT? COME UP SHOW ME!

Hahaa! I scaed you Appa! No bubu! You woeeyy too much!
(The little one raises his legs and shows his knees as he walks home holding Jimin's hand but then his attention gets diverted somewhere else)

*Bo was looking at two of his classmates (Jimin turned to see as well, seeing his son's concentration) who were on the other side of the road walking home with their mum and dad, their clothes all shiny, new bags and pretty shoes

Jimin looked back at his son to see him grow a bit sad*

Appa?

*The single parent was dreading this moment*

What is it hun? (Smiling as much as possible)

Appa new shush? My birday is comin! Wan new shush like them (points to his classmates)

*Jimin bends down to take a look at his shabby worn out shoes and then into his doodly eyes as he picks up the child in his arms*

How about.....you wear the same shoes and I carry you home everyday like this

(Lifts him up in the air)

Jimin runs home with the young lass in his arms

Scene: One room rented apartment
- Landlady (LL who was waiting for them downstairs)

LL: Ah Jimin will you be late again? Come over here my little baby
(Raises her arms to take Bo as the young one goes to her lap)

I can't thank you enough Granny for taking care of him (patting Bo's head on her lap)
Yes unfortunately I'm working overtime. His school fees have hiked up plus the new session is almost near. His admission, books, clothes have to buy him everything

LL: And you?

Umm... I'm thinking of taking up another job

LL: Lass how long will this go on? You are already working overtime everyday. You need to take care of yourself

Haha! I'm grateful to you that you have not increased the rent and you're already taking care of him when I'm not home. But I have to pay as much as I can. Hopefully it will all sort out one day. If I get the job, I will get an extra ### with which I can feed my son better...

(Looks at the watch)

OHH! I'M LATE GRANNY! BYE BYE! LOVE YOU!

BO BE GOOD TO HER, DARLING! (Kisses his cheek)

Bye Jimin. Come back as fast you can!

YESSSSSSS! BYE BYE!

Jimin runs away only to turn around once and see Bo raising his hand bidding him a good bye!

He smiles and runs off

Jimin's PoV

...Oh can't be late! Boss is gonna cut off from my salary!

Waooahhh!! Ouch!

These stupid slippers... Dhat! I need to stitch them up again! Tripping is not an option now

Waiiittttt!

Dashi run run run!

Pheewww! Right on time!
A minute late and I would have missed the bus

With a few extra shifts I can buy Bo new shoes. My child is going to be so happy!

Jimin goes all giggly just at the thought of Bo laughing and cheery because of him
