The ride back to Bryan's place was quiet. Amy kept stealing glances at Bryan, she could tell from the frown on his face and how hard he was holding the steering wheel, that he was angry, probably at her but was holding back. It made her feel so small beside him. If he was reacting this way, she wonders what her dad would do when he finds out about what happened to her. She doesn't want him finding out about today's incident.

Amy didn't realize that they had already arrived Bryan's mansion, until she felt a gentle pat on her knee, causing her to flinch away in fear.

"I didn't mean to scare you. I just wanted to let you know that we're home." Bryan said softly.

Amy looked at her surrounding and realized that they were indeed at Bryan's place. She covered herself properly with Bryan's jacket and slowly climbed out of the car.

Bryan guided her into the mansion, even though she knew every nook and cranny of his house. He felt like she needed that extra care after what she experienced. He led her into the kitchen and poured her a glass of water, which she quietly took.

He wanted so badly to know what actually happened at the party and who the bastard was that hurt her, but he held himself back because he didn't want her to feel uncomfortable as she was still in a delicate condition. He watched as she quietly emptied the glass of water, saying a quiet

"Thank you." When she was done.

This isn't the Amy he knew and it upsets him to see her like this. If only she would open up and let him help her.

"Would you like to eat something?" Bryan asked instead, as he was willing to do anything to make her feel comfortable, even if it meant holding back whatever questions he had to ask tonight.

"No, thanks... I would like to go to bed." Amy replied in a quiet voice.

"Okay. Goodnight." Bryan then said, placing the glass in the sink.

He didn't try giving her a goodnight kiss like he usually does because she was still shaken up by what happened, so he didn't want to scare her.

"Goodnight." Amy said in barely a whisper before rushing out of the kitchen.

She ran upstairs to her bedroom in Bryan's house and broke down in tears.

'He hates me.' She thought to herself as she sobbed.

He was mad at her, that's why he refused to say a proper goodnight like he always did. He was disappointed in her.

Amy couldn't stop her tears from pouring as she was hurt by Bryan's action. She needed his affection at this time in her life. She needed him to hug her and tell her that everything is going to be okay, but he didn't do any of that, rather, he barely even looked at her when he said goodnight.

This was all her fault. If she hadn't gone to that party, Bryan wouldn't be disappointed in her. She immediately took off her clothes and went into the bathroom to shower. She wanted to wash off all the nasty things that scoundrel did to her.

After she showered, she went into her walk in closet to grab a pyjamas. When she got dressed, she tried to get some sleep but failed miserably as memories of what happened to her at the party came flooding back whenever she closed her eyes.

After several failed attempts to go to bed, Amy crawled out of bed and looked at the time, it was 3:30am. She was bothered by the fact that she couldn't get even half an hour of sleep. She desperately wanted to forget everything that happened, but how would she achieve that, when she couldn't get some sleep.

Bryan was awake on his bed, he couldn't get any sleep because he was worried about Amy. He couldn't get the image of her sobbing some hours earlier out of his head. He felt so terrible for not knowing what to do to make her feel better.

If Henry were here, he would most probably know how to make his daughter feel safe. Maybe, he should give Henry a call and let him know what happened, that is what he should do first thing in the morning. Bryan concluded within himself as he tried to get some sleep.

A sudden knock on his door interrupted him. He dragged himself out of bed and walked towards the door. On opening it, he saw a sad and tired looking Amy, her eyes were puffy from crying.

"Princess, is something wrong?" He asked with concern.

"I can't sleep. Everytime I close my eyes, I see him." She explained with tear filled eyes.

"Come here." Bryan cooed. He ignored his worries about how she would react to his touch and opened his arms for a hug, which Amy accepted without a second thought.

She hugged him tightly as fresh tears rolled down her face. This is what she wanted, somewhere to feel loved and safe.
