Thin Ice - Cobra Kai (Eli/Hawk x reader x Robby)

O N E - Back to The Valley

Staring at the school from a distance, (Y/N) took a deep breath before pushing one foot in front of the other. Demetri had promised to meet with her before school but was either running late or had totally forgotten. She didn't want to go into the school alone on her first day back in the middle of the year, but she trudged forward.

Making her way inside, the loud chatter of a bustling school hit her ears. The noise was almost overwhelming. As she tried to get her bearings she got lurched forward as another body walked into hers.

"Oh my god! I'm so sorry are you alright?" A brown haired girl about the same age apologised profusely, looking flustered.

(Y/N) smiled. "It's okay. No harm done. Are you okay?" She asked, re adjusting her bag on her back.
The girl nodded. "Yeah I just wasn't looking where I was going. I'm Sam by the way. Sam LaRusso."

"I'm (Y/N). Its nice to meet you Sam."

The two girls spoke as they made their way through the school, both already enjoying the others company.

"So where are you from? I've never seen you around." Sam asked, curious.

"Oh I'm actually from The Valley, born and raised. I left a few years ago for family reasons but I moved back here with my Uncle." (Y/N) explained, making her way towards the stairs. Where a group of loud and seemingly aggressive boys were making their way down.

(Y/N) looked up, spotting a striking blue mohawk, and finding the face that came with it familiar. Upon laying eyes on the new girl the boys laughed, the one with the mohawk being the first to talk.

"Looks like we've got some fresh meat." He laughed, making his way down the remaining stairs and sliding next to (Y/N). "Hey princess."

"Leave her alone Hawk." Sam hissed, a noticeable rivalry between the two.

"Sam he's just being friendly." Another boy stepped forward.

"A little too friendly, Miguel." Sam spat at the second boy. Something even worse must have happened between those two.

But still, (Y/N) couldn't shake the feeling that she knew this boy. He was so familiar, but she couldn't remember where she'd see him before.

Then she saw it. It wasn't noticeable at first, the mohawk drew the most attention. But it was there. The scar above his lip.

"Holy shit...." she muttered, drawing the boys attention back to her. "Eli?"

The boys smirk fell right off his face and Sam looked at her, visibly confused. "You know him?" She asked.

"I.."

"(Y/N)!"

She didn't get the chance to answer as she felt a hand grab her arm, pulling her away. Looking over her shoulder she saw her best friend, Demetri.

"Demetri wait. Is that-?" He cutting her off.

"It doesn't matter, let's go." He said, hardly giving her a chance to catch up. Sam following close behind.

(Y/N) looked over at the familiar boy, who was staring at her, shock written all over his face. She knew it was him. It was Eli.

By the time lunch rolled around (Y/N) had a million questions, and as far as she was concerned, Demetri had all the answers. So far none of her classes had been with him so she had no way to ask, luckily she had Sam. She didn't know her very well but Sam didn't hesitate to tell (Y/N) everything that had happened to do with Cobra Kai and the All Valley tournament that had taken place a few weeks ago.

"You have some explaining to do." (Y/N) said as she practically threw herself into the seat next to Demetri. He looked up from his lunch tray with a blank face.

"I do?" He asked, clearly wanting to avoid the conversation he knew was inevitable. He knew when (Y/N) returned to the Valley less than a week ago she was gonna ask questions. She was curious about why Eli hadn't come to see her or hang out with her and Demetri but she only asked if he was busy or something. The answer was yes.

"Of course you do! You told me Eli was busy not that he had a full blow transformation into some cocky asshole." (Y/N) snapped.

Sam sat down next to the two, throwing Demetri an apologetic look. Knowing she had told (Y/N) that her best friend had become a bully.

He took a deep breath. "A lot has changed since you left...."

(Y/N) was horrified to hear what had become of Eli, who now went by the name of Hawk. She also discovered the reason behind the tension between Sam and the boy Miguel, noting another reason not to like Cobra Kai.

A week passed and (Y/N) decided it was best for her and Demetri if she avoid all contact with Hawk. She often saw him around school with his group of fellow Cobra Kais. Part of her was begging to talk to him, she had really missed him. But Demetri said he was trouble, and she didn't want any more of that.

Joining Sam in Bio she let out a sigh. She could feel the eyes of her old friend practically burn holes into the back of her head.

Sam could sense (Y/N)'s agitation towards him. "Hey, I know its hard but trust me. He's not worth it."

The girl gave her a weak smiled before training her attention on the lesson.

When the bell rang, (Y/N) and Sam made their way to the door quickly, hoping to avoid any unnecessary confrontation.

"So you wanna come to mine tonight? Have a girls weekend?" Sam asked with a smile. "I could use some girl time."

(Y/N)'s face lit up. "Really? Sure I'd love to it'll be great!" She grinned.

The two girls laughed and talked their way to their final class. But before they could turn into the door, (Y/N) heard the call of her name.

Turning on her heel, she spun round to see the blue mohawk she had desperately been trying to avoid. "Hey
(Y/N)..."

"Back off Hawk." Sam immediately stepped in.

Hawk eyed Sam up and down, clearly not threatened by her display. "Back up princess, I'm trying to talk to my friend."

(Y/N)'s face darkend and her brow furrowed. "I am not your friend Eli. Demetri is my friend. You.... are an asshole."  She knew her words probably wouldn't affect him, but she didn't want Sam getting involved with him anymore than she already was.

"Seriously (Y/N)?" Hawk asked, pissed that he wasn't getting her attention after years of it throughout their childhood.

(Y/N) grabbed Sam's hand and pulled her towards the classroom, calling over her shoulder.

"Fuck off Eli."
