I feel a movement beside me before a wave of coldness spreads all over my skin. My eyes open involuntary while my body remains rigid. I feel the exhaustion for all last days catching up to me.

"where are you going?" my voice is low as I lock my eyelashes again not having the strength to keep them open.

"I gotta go,"

"why...what time is it?" My room is covered in the dimness and the sun hasn't risen yet.

"I have to take care of some things before school. Sleep, you've got some time left,"

I hear him walking and moving around the room to gather his stuff before my bed deepens causing me to glance up. He leans down as I stare at his wide blue eyes.

"See you in school," He places a small kiss on my forehead before he leans up to leave but I grip his hand.

"no," A chuckle fills the air before he leans back down and kisses me on the lips. It's a longer and more passionate one.

"I love you," I unlock my eyes and our eyes meet as a grin covers my face before his face mirrors mine.

I hear the door closing and I hug his pillow as I bury my head in it. I inhale his scent that it's all over it and I smile in appreciation that there's a sign that he was here. I hug it even closer before I drift off again into a happy dream about a young boy with deep blue ocean eyes and blonde hair. I dream of my angel.

When I wake up, my room has some sunlight. I spread my hand towards his side and huff once I remember that he left earlier.

"so empty..." I mutter. The bed seems so big and lonely without my angel in it. Why did he have to leave anyway? I was so sleepy and tired that my brain wasn't operating at that point though I'll ask him in school.

I get up and stand in front of my window that he was standing yesterday night. I see the light rising, blanking the houses and streets with its light. I blink as the amount of light hurts my eyes and head towards the bathroom. The instant my hand touches the knob, I hear loud voices coming from downstairs.

I immediately recognize the voices and a frown of confusion flashes my face. Jacob never fights with Noah. I mean they have their argument but I have never heard them yell at each other like that. I walk down the stairs as their angry voices become clearer and louder with every step I take closer.

"You don't know what you're talking about Noah!" Jacob shouts.

I find them standing in the hallway next to the living room. There are opposite from each other and by their looks alone I understand that the cause of their fight must be something important. Jacob's body seems to be tensed but I feel anxiety radiating off of him. He seems exhausted. Noah, on the other hand, seems to be wide awake sending draggers with his gaze at his brother. His body muscles are all clenched along with his fists. I don't think I have ever witnessed him like this.

"Cut the crap, Jacob! Talk! What is that supposed to mean?"

"I said drop it!" Jacob exclaims as his eyes widen. "Keep your mouth shut!"

"Are you kidding me, Jacob! I'm not doing anything! Either you tell me or I'll do ask him himself and you're not going to like the outcome!" Noah threats walking towards Jacob until he stands right before him.

"You wouldn't dare," Jacob hisses as the words are filled with venom escaping through his clenched teeth.

"Watch me!" Noah screams and walks to me but before he can see me Jacob stops him in his tracks.

"He's using her!" He cries and Noah's body freezes as the words are left hanging in the air that is blanked with stillness and silence. He slowly turns around and gazes at his brother.
