A short story about a woman or male.

The book can start with a scene with the main character getting in an argument with someone close to them. (a significant other, a friend, a family member etc..) In the argument the main character is scolded about their very laid back, nonchalant, not caring personality.

The rest of the book can be a series a flashbacks the main character has during the argument; which basically tells their life story and what events led up to them acting the way they do.

Potential ideas for the series of events can be:
Death of someone close
Cheating in past relationships
Abuse from parents
Domestic violence
Assault
Miscarriage
A kidnapping
