As soon as school ended summer began. (Y/N) and Demetri left arm in arm heading towards the diner for their much deserved milkshakes and fries. And after that was a trip to the arcade. Between them they didn't win many tickets, so as they stood at the prize counter the counted the amount of erasers they could have.

"Oh oh! I have an idea!" (Y/N) smiled, pointing to two keyrings in the counter, both crescent moons. "We'll take those please."

The woman behind the counter grabbed the keyrings and handed the over, taking the tickets in return.

"Here." (Y/N) said, handing one to Demetri. "Moon buddies."

He laughed. "Never call us that."

"But you and Eli were binary brothers? Can't we be... solar system siblings?" She pouted, before bursting out laughing at the absurd phrase.

"Well then Solar Sibling." Demetri chuckled. "Let's go play some air hockey."

(Y/N) linked her arm with his once again. "You read my mind."

------------

A few days later (Y/N) was sat with Sam in her house, having yet another girls day. She loved it.

"So how's the karate thing going?" (Y/N) asked, sipping on the smoothie Amanda had made her.

Sam sighed. "Not great. Dad made a commercial for Miyagi-do and it didn't do well. They started calling him a racist." Shw frowned.

(Y/N) titled her head, wondering how such a kind man could be seen in such a bad light. "A racist? Why?"

"No idea. Wonders of the Internet right?" Ahe huffed.

"Speaking of the Internet." Robby butted in, looking less than happy as hey threw his phone on the table between the two girls. An ad on his screen.

Sam looked horrified. "No way... is that..?"

"Cobra Kai." Robbt spat, pressing play on the ad.

(Y/N) looked over at the screen as a blond man rambled on about karate before kicking a bonsai out of some poor boys hands. "He seems... aggressively optimistic?"

Sam and Robby seemed rather annoyed at the ad. (Y/N) knew that Mr LaRusso had been trying to get new students, he even offered the lessons for free but no one had the patience for his teachings.

"That's bullshit." Sam huffed. "Dad is trying so hard to help kids learn karate and that asshole has to go and make it harder."

On cue, Sam's phone began to ring. "Its my dad." She said, picking up the phone and putting it to her ear.

(Y/N) and Robby glanced at each other as Sam and her father had a brief conversation. Both could tell that her dad had seen the ad as well.

"Alright dad. We'll be down soon." Sam said before ending her call. "He wants us down at Valley fest. He has an idea to get us more students."

(Y/N) and Robby smiled. "Whats the idea?" Robby asked.

"Miyagi-do is going to do a karate demonstration."

--------------

The festival was loud and packed with people, in order not to lose her friends in crowds (Y/N) clung to Robby's arm. He didn't mind, in fact he rather enjoyed her presence.

"Been a while since you came to one of these?" He asked, smiling down at her as they continued through the crowd to the LaRusso Autogroup stall.

She nodded, gripping his arm a little tighter as someone brushed past her. "Couple years. I forget how loud it gets, and bright." She mumbled.
