ARTEMIS was woken up by knocking on the door. Secondes later, Din jumped up, making her fall onto the floor since she had fallen asleep on top of him.

"Sorry," Din apologized, pulling her up. "Come in," he added, a bit louder so that the person out of the hut could hear him.

Omera came in, carrying a tray with food. Her eyes traveled from Din to Artemis and back. Artemis noticed that she was rather curious of the Mandalorian.

Winta ran into the hut and looked around for the child. When she found him, she glanced up at her mother who gave her an encouraging smile.

"Can I feed him?" Winta asked politely, looking at Din and Artemis.

"Sure," Din replied and Winta made her way towards the bed where Grogu had just woken up.

"Are you hungry?" she asked him. She laughed when he ate it. "Can I play with him?"

"Sure," Artemis said, smiling down at the girl, before picking the kid up and placing him on the ground.

Winta giggled. "Come on." She stood up and walked outside, turning at the doorway to see if Grogu was following her.

"I don't think —" Din began, but was interrupted by Artemis who placed a hand on his arm.

"They'll be fine."

"I don't —"

"He'll be fine," Artemis assured him. "Let him have some fun with the other children."

"The General is right," Omera spoke up, making the two of them look at her. "They'll be fine."

Artemis frowned. "You served?"

"For a bit," Omera replied, smiling. "I didn't recognize you immediately, but the hair kind of gave it away."

Artemis shook her head. "I did not expect to be recognized on a planet like this."

"I take it I'm not the first one?"

Artemis smiled. "No, you're not."

"Anyway, I brought you some food," Omera said, glancing at Din, and Artemis could feel her fascination for the Mandalorian. "I noticed the two of you haven't eaten yet. I'll leave it here for when I go."

"That's very thoughtful of you," Din replied politely.

"Do you mind if I ask you something?" Omera asked, her eyes fixed on Din.
