Bailey-

I have now officially memorized the entire fucking dictionary which I will use while yelling at Adrian. As soon as I realized the truth, I ran straight home. I think I heard a few gunshots as I got into a taxi and drove away but whatever.

Now, I was in my apartment, making sure to look the best I can so I can yell at him in style. He had no fucking right to play with my heart like that. What kind of weak ass fucker is he?

Giving into his ex-girlfriend's demands just because she threatened him? Well, I have a lot of things to say about that. Dylan was still in the apartment with me. "How long does it take for Luna to get a book?" He whines. "I'm going to call her."

"Okay, you do that. I'll just memorize a few more words."

"Bailey."

"Don't disturb me," I hold a finger up in his direction as I focus on reading the dictionary.

"Bailey!"

"What Dylan?!" I groan, turning to face him. My irritation instantly fades away once I see Dylan's pale face. He looks like he's seen a ghost. "What's wrong?"

"Luna's in the hospital."

"But she's not due until three months..."

"I need to be there," He breathes, worry plastered on his face.

"I'll come with you," I declare, as he grabs his car key and nearly runs out of the apartment. I rush after him, grabbing my pepper spray, just in case we encounter an obstacle. When we safely reach the car, I climb into the back seat of the car, while Dylan speeds out of the driveway.

I know it's worrying him a lot because I've never seen him running a yellow light before. The seat belt holds me back as he begins to speed up. "Dylan! Slow down! We're not part of the mafia like our friends. The police will arrest us. Or to be more specific... you."

He instantly slows down and starts to go by the speed limit. He doesn't talk the entire ride to the hospital.

What's wrong with Luna? Is she giving birth early? That can't be good. Did something happen to her while she was at the bookstore? Fuck, I hope she's okay. Good thing I took my anxiety pills or whatever they're officially called or I would be panicking like shit right now.

Once we reach there, the car screeches to a halt. I notice a white car here, parked right next to a black car. Huh. Weird. Shaking away my confusion, I walk into the hospital building to see Anna holding a tissue below her nose.

Blake is holding a tissue box right next to her. It's almost as if they're both here to come get us. "Bailey! Oh my God, I don't know where to start!" She rambles. Her voice comes out sounding like she's sick. Probably because of the bleeding nose.

"Are you okay? Where's Luna?! Is she okay?!" Dylan warbles. Anna's gaze lowers slightly.

"Third floor, maternity ward," She informs him. Leaving us behind, Dylan rushes upstairs. Blake gives a nurse that's about to stop Dylan a slight nod, and she lets Dylan through.

"What's wrong?" I ask Anna, who now meets my gaze.

"Ava..." I tense at the mention of her name. "She had Luna. She drugged her."

My eyes widen at her words. "She's six months pregnant!" I hiss. "You can't drug pregnant women! That'll cause pregnancy complications like premature birth which'll be harmful to the baby! Things like low birth weight, respiratory problems and stuff. It's worse when the mother has drugs in her body because that would cause withdrawal symptoms in the baby, like tremors and... and... more. Anna, tell me Luna's okay!"
