The next day Lucifer dropped me off at the house, telling me to call him if anything else happens

The next day Lucifer dropped me off at the house, telling me to call him if anything else happens. I reluctantly agreed and walked into the house. It was about seven in the morning, and everyone was in the kitchen eating breakfast.

I walked in and sat on the barstool while everyone talked. Of course, Gino being the observant person he is asked about my hand. I had the file and weapons in my school backpack sitting next to my feet, and my nerves were spiked.

"I punched a mirror," I said somewhat honestly. My lies aren't easy to see through, and if everyone did see through them, they didn't say anything about it. Gino disapprovingly shook his head before forcing me to get it checked by him. He dug through some cabinets in the kitchen and took out a first aid kit.

"When was the last time you took some painkillers?" Dad asked, looking through the medicine cabinet in the kitchen. Apparently, they have everything in every room, literally.

"Last night," I said. He nodded his head before getting some out. Gino quickly disinfected my wound before bandaging it again.

"Go upstairs and change for the school, and then eat breakfast, and have some pain killers," Dad said, leaning against the counter. I nodded my head, and hopped off the stool, and heading upstairs. I changed into the school uniform since it is Friday, brushed out my hair, and put it into a messy bun.

I put on a beige button up top and a dark brown pleated skirt. I put on some sandals and chapstick and walked upstairs. I had already brushed my teeth at Lucifer, who surprisingly still kept up his sweetness. The skirt came to my upper thigh and maybe a little too risky for my brother's and dad, but oh well.

I skipped downstairs and sat down at the bar in the kitchen

I skipped downstairs and sat down at the bar in the kitchen. Gino gave me a chocolate muffin that had my stomach growling embarrassingly. He gave me some coffee also thank the lords. Dad gave me the Advil, and I took them.

"Come on, or your walking to school," Cedric yelled from the front door. Gino had left already, leaving Dad and me in the kitchen, while he read the newspaper oddly enough. I stuffed the rest of the muffin in my mouth and gulped down my coffee before I got up, ready to leave the kitchen.
