5) Cute

Sophia POV

The weekend went by quickly and it's a Friday right now. I woke up and get ready for school. I wore a skirt and a cardigan crop top today and grabbed my backpack.

I walked to school and I was looking down at my phone texting my dad. I was walking forward when I hit my head on something. I look up and saw Taylor hand on my forehead preventing me hit my head on this pole

"Oh thank you" I rubbed my forehead "It wasn't for you, I was protecting this pole" She hit my forehead lightly and I rolled my eyes.

"You know I still don't have my hoodie back and it's been 3 days" She said

Shoot I totally forgot about her hoodie

It was so comfortable I forgot it was hers

"Well where is it?" She said sighing

"I've been kinda wearing it in my house. I'm sorry it's comfortable okay and it smells like vanilla which I like" I said quickly and she rolled her eyes

"I need it tonight. I'm going to a friends house and I have nothing to wear" She said and I nodded "I can give it you after school! Just drive by to my house" I said and she nodded

"Fine" She walked away

I begin the rest of the day and didn't pay much attention to class because I was honestly too tired. I was in English class and Ms Gadot assign us homework but luckily it's going to be due Monday morning. But knowing me I might finish it today so I can sleep peacefully tonight

I like to get things done okay

I was sitting when I felt Ms Gadot eyes on me. I shift uncomfortably on my chair and tried to hide my face. After the little incident in the bookstore we didn't speak once. I ignored her eye contact and just completely walked passed by her when I see her on the halls

But I just couldn't get her out of my head

I sigh and the bell finally ranged

"Bye Sam"

"Bye Soph"

We both parted our ways and I didn't go to the bookstore today because I'm so tired right now. I walked home and immediately changed into some comfy clothes and took a nap.

When I woke up it was kinda dark outside. I checked the time and it was almost 6:00pm. Jeez I slept a long time. I stretched and went in the shower. I blow dried my hair and put on a large t shirt and some shorts.

I applied my face mask and wore a cute headband to keep mommy hair out of my mask

I was feeling kinda hungry and went downstairs to grab a snack. When I was in the pantry I felt something weird. I turned around and saw my dad and Ms Gadot looking at me.

"Dad! Why didn't you tell your fiancée is coming over!" I said "Well honey when I came to check on you, you were knocked out and I didn't want to wake you up because you look so peaceful" He said and I groan

Why do I keep embarrassing myself?!

The doorbell ranged

That's strange who else is coming over

I walked to the door and opened it and I let out a loud gasp.

I forgot about Taylor

"Woah nice face mask" She laughed and took a picture of me and I grabbed her phone but she was too tall. "Where's my hoodie I need to leave" She said "Wait here" I said and grabbed her hoodie in my room and give it to her

"I'm keeping this picture" She said and I was ready to attack her but she was already running away.

Maybe next time I just shouldn't wear face masks

"Who was that darling" Dad said "Uh just a friend? I think acquaintance is a better term though" I said "Oh ok then dinner is ready. We were waiting for you so take that mask away" He said standing up

I rather eat alone

I went to my room again and took off my mask. I wash my face and cleanse it and finally add some moisturizer.

I went back down and saw them waiting for me

So embarrassing

I sat down and we started eating

"Gal here told me you're her student" Dad said and I choked on my food.

"Yep" I said

"I hope you're a good girl in her class"

"Oh she's a good girl alright" Gal said and I swear I wanted to run away. "I figured my little senior here has being doing good in school since kindergarten" Dad smiled and I smiled back at him

I was done eating this awkward dinner and ran to my room and do my homework for Gal

I sigh and started working.

I answered the last multiple question and finally submitted it. I checked the time and it was almost 8:00pm.

Not too late

Someone knocked on my door

"Come in" I said reading my book

"Why are you ignoring me?" I heard that voice I wanted to ignore forever "I'm not- I'm just busy" I said covering my face with my book "I can tell you're ignoring me. Right now you're not busy so talk to me now" Gal said and I put my book down

She acts so different here than at school

"Because every time I see you I feel weird" I looked at her "Weird?" She said and I nodded "How so?" She leaned on my door "Well believe it or not you're the first person I hugged- well accidentally" I said and she scoffed

"It's true. People always wanted to stay away from me because well I'm....different" I shrugged "What makes you so different from them?" She asked "Well if you didn't noticed I'm known as 'The biggest loser' since elementary school" I said

"And do you care?" She said

"Not really. After I graduate I won't see them again so I won't waste my time on people I probably won't see again" I said and she smirked

Why is she smirking at me like that

"So you feel weird because I'm the first person you hugged? And you think it's awkward?" Gal said and I nodded "But I'll probably loosen up around you, since we're gonna spend some time together starting from now on" I said

"Cute"
