"Oh, I should like one very much." You smile as you respond to Colin and he nods, taking the lead and guiding you into the bakery where you are simply overcome with the choices and that amazing smell. It is simply to die for.
"May I have two croissants please?" He is polite to the young woman who serves him, of course he is, and after he has gained everything you wished to order, he is quick to sit down with you in a seat by the window. "You looked rather lovely at the ball last night, I must say. I have never seen a dress that was so pretty on a lady."
"That is quite a compliment, I believe." You respond as you smile at his words, taking a bite into the croissant. It tastes exactly as good as you thought it would from the smell. "That is simply fantastic."
"I did tell you, did I not?" The grin on Colin's face only grows as he regards you. "Did you enjoy the ball last night, Miss (y/n)?"
