Part 12 || put your head on my shoulder

Y/N's POV

Heeseung: "I feel bad for him" I turned my head instantly

Y/N: "what?" I asked wanting him to clarify

Heeseung: "I feel bad for him cause someone who likes him looks like you" he clicked his tongue in disappointment

Y/N: "your so fucking-"

Heeseung: "handsome?" He smirked looking at me

Y/N: "I was gonna say annoying" he rolled his eyes

Heeseung: "but seriously who's this guy?" I didn't know who to say... it was him but I couldn't say that. I didn't respond for a while which made him speak

Heeseung: "is it Sunghoon?" I looked at him and laughed.

Y/N: "SUNGHOON?! *LAUGHS* no way! I can't imagine me and Sunghoon together" I made a sarcastic barfing gesture which resulted to him laughing

Heeseung: "well whoever that guy is is really unlucky" he snickered

Y/N: "you little-" he got up and started running. Here we go again. I ran after him trying to catch up. "Slow down!"

Heeseung: "why would I?" He laughed out loud which made me annoyed so I ran faster. I was catching up but still couldn't reach so I just jumped on him without thinking.

He turned around and caught me preventing me from falling.

Y/N: "you should stop running fast you-" I stopped talking when I looked up to see he was an inch away from me.

Heeseung: "y/n..."

Y/N: "He-Heeseung..." we didn't continue but stared into each other's eyes like last time.

His eyes slowly went to my lips and my eyes went on his. He started leaning in and we both closed our eyes but something was wrong and it didn't feel right to do this so I turned away. He opened his eyes and sighed.

Heeseung: "let's go back to the tree" I nodded quietly following behind him. My heart was pounding like crazy. I can't like Heeseung! Our worlds are too different we won't work! Stop liking him y/n!

Heeseung's POV

As I was leaning in y/n looked away and I moved my head back *sigh*

Heeseung: "let's go back to the tree" she nodded and walked behind me quietly. I felt my eyes tearing up so I quickly wiped them. I didn't understand why I wanted to cry but I just felt like it.

We sat back down after our awkward moment and just stayed silent.

Y/N: "can I tell you something? Like honestly?"

Heeseung: "sure" I said calmly and not in a cold voice

Y/N: "I never told this to anyone but I don't know I just feel like this is the perfect time to let it all out" I wrapped my arm around her shoulders comforting her

Heeseung: "go ahead I'm listening"

Y/N: "it's just- things aren't as easy as you think at home. I don't want to get into it but I act like everything is fine and *choke* others know about it but still *choke* I can't seem to talk *choke* about it with them" she started crying and I just rubbed her shoulder listening to her "I just want to feel safe and happy knowing that there's someone who still cares for me" she cried on my chest while I just hugged her.

Heeseung: "I don't know what to say that will comfort you but I can share what I'm going through as well" she nodded

Y/N: "sure I don't mind"

Heeseung: "my parents always controlled everything in my life. Getting high grades was the only way for them to stay away from my business. I act cold and tough but I want someone to know I'm having a hard time even if I keep a smile on my face without actually telling that person. I want someone to just know someone who truly cares about me and not just care about me to control my life" she just stayed quiet while leaning on my chest listening to me "they planned for me to be a doctor but I want to perform in front of people I want to put a smile on other peoples faces knowing that it was because of me" I started tearing up as well since it's hard imagining me never being able to reach my dream "I want to sing and dance to show people what I can do and to let people know that even if it seems impossible there's always a way to make something happen" my tears started falling and she looked up at me and smiled

Y/N: "don't cry" she said grabbing my cheek and wiping my tear of my face with her thumb "you look ugly" she laughed and I laughed too

Heeseung: "aishh your starting to look ugly as well" I did the same in wiping her tears off her face but using both my hands.

Y/N: "yah!" She said with a little voice crack since she's just recovering from crying "I never look ugly. What are you talking about?" She slapped me playfully and we both laughed. We were leaning on each other's heads when y/n got a call.

Y/N: "sorry"

Y/N: "hello?" "What?! O-ok I'm coming!" She hung up the phone and stuffed it inside her bag and stood up which made me stand up as well

Heeseung: "what's wrong?!"

Y/N: "I have to get home now!" She was about to run but I grabbed her wrist

Heeseung: "let me drive you there"

Y/N: "n-no it's ok I can go-"

Heeseung: "my car is just right there let's go" I pulled her with me and she got in the car but she looked so nervous. "You ok?" She turned to me and smiled

Y/N: "y-yeah yeah I'm fine"

Y/N's POV

My heart just keeps pounding faster and faster by the minute for 2 reasons. 1 Heeseung is doing things that make my feelings for him just grow more and 2... my mom. Jake called me and told me to rush home cause our mom arrived earlier than we thought. Heeseung suddenly pulled up the divider of the car between the driver and us and started talking

Heeseung: "thanks for a while ago" he said looking over to me smiling

Y/N: "for what?"

Heeseung: "for listening to my problems without judging me"

Y/N: "thanks too... I needed it" we both smiled and looked away. We were on my street and I told Heeseung to tell the driver to stop. I can't let my mom see I was in a friends car.

Heeseung: "you sure?" I nodded I opened the door but before I got out I went back in and hugged him

Y/N: "thanks Heeseungie" I felt his heart beating faster which cause mine to beat fast as well. I pulled apart and we were both blushing. I closed the door and waved goodbye before running to my house.

*opens door*

Mom: "where have you been young lady?"

Y/N: "I was in the library" I tried sounding confident but I'm not sure if it worked. She came close to me and raised her hand. I closed my eyes expecting to be hit but I felt nothing

Mom: "you thought I was gonna slap you huh?" Then out of no where she did slap me "that's for coming home late even if you went to the library" I held my cheek and my mom went upstairs. That's when I only noticed Jake in the same room.

Jake: "you ok sis?" He said scanning me

Y/N: "yeah I'm ok" from a  worried expression it turned into a smirk

Jake: "so~ how was your date with Heeseung?" He teased and we both went to the couch and talked about everything. "I'm telling you, he likes you! And you like him!" I rolled my eyes

Y/N: "yeah but you know it's hard for us to be together and if he finds out our mom is like that I'm scared he'll tell the old school"

Jake: "he's not like that trust me"

Y/N: "but what if he goes back to his old ways?"

Jake: "just- *sigh* whatever happens happens ok? Now better go up and study before mom catches us" I nodded sadly and went up to study... again 😑🙄
