Something had gone wrong, when Celeste and Samuel got back from their last adventure Samuel was taken by a group of unknown men. It had taken Celeste months to track him down and now she finally has finally found the place they've kept him captive.

She walked down the corridors of the secret base, fury evident in her bright golden eyes. Who ever she came across ended up with a snapped neck.

This was the fury of The Shadow that the universe was terrified of, she would kill everyone in her path if something happened to someone she loved. Some don't understand how someone like the Doctor can associate with her, even after she's killed so many, but I guess that's the beauty of love.

Men shot at her with guns but she just put her hands up sending the bullets firing back at the soldiers. Upstairs watching her on the cameras, a man was smiling with glee at the prized possession he had found.

"Where is he?!" Celeste yelled, the very ground under her shaking fiercely a sign of her anger. Chunks of the stone walls around her flew into every door she came across as she looked for her best friend, the person she considered as her brother, her only family in this world.

The lights started flickering and Celeste smiles at Samuel's signal. She follows the lights, knocking any guard she finds unconscious and she snaps the neck of the one's whose darkness she can feel coming off them in waves. Soon she makes it to the cage and she laughs in amusement at the attempts of the humans in charge to keep her out, she blasts a hole through the second cell door with a bright beam of light that comes out of her hands.

"Go knock her out in any way possible! He wants her alive!" The commander calls out to his men over the radio and dozens of men rush towards the cage.

Celeste walks into the cage smirking and looks at Samuel chained up with duct tape over his mouth.

"Honey I'm home" Celeste says sarcastically and Samuel rolls his eyes at the stolen line.

"Ya wanna get me out?" Samuel tells her through their link and Celeste frowns at how tired he sounds. She quickly melts the chains using the energy from the time vortex running through her veins and she quickly frees her best friend, the duct tape coming off immediately.

"Come on let's get out of here" Celeste whispers soothingly to her adoptive brother as he slumps in her arms, obviously drained from endless torturing and testing.

"Do not move you are surrounded"

The mystery girl sighs, exhausted from how much she's used her powers. Her eyes glow bright golden as she uses the last of her energy to send her best friend to safety, ignoring the angry screams of protests she hears through her mental bond with Samuel.

Celeste stands up unsteadily and prepares to fight the soldiers, when she get's unexpectedly injected from behind with a tranquiliser. Dropping to the ground unconscious and inadvertently taking her best friends place in becoming the new favourite lab rat.

"We will have fun with you" Van Statten coo's as he walks into the cell, pleased with his new prize.

{Three weeks later}

"So, shall we try this again lightbulb" Van Statten grins to himself at the little nickname he had given the girl in front of him. They had to give her 5x the normal tranquiliser amount for humans, due to that her body kept constantly burning it away and even that only keeps her subdued enough for interrogation. "What are you?"

"Go fuck yourself" Celeste growls, her eyes brightly glowing their constant golden colour.

Van Statten frowns and nods to the scientist who pulls the leaver sending bolts of electricity flowing through the young girls body. She screams out in pain, pain flooding her system. With dirty and ripped clothes, tangled hair, Celeste hung from a wall, her hands chained to the ceiling.

Now normally she would of be able to escape after a couple of days but she is using all of her energy to block Samuel from being able to rescue her and with the tranquilisers on top of that she doesn't have a lot of spare energy.

Celeste raises her head as she hears the familiar strangled cries of the Dalek in the cage next to her.

"Still torturing the Dalek I see? He'll talk soon enough, a lot of talking in fact" Celeste chuckles darkly and Van Statten's eyes widen at the mystery in front of him.

"You know what it's called" The man whispers and Celeste grins darkly.

"I know a lot of things, a lot of it would make you shit your pants in fear" She replies tiredly laughing

"Get her in there" Van Statten says to the scientist as he leaves to watch on the monitor outside her cell.

Celeste gets released from her chains for the first time in weeks and she lets herself get shoved into the Dalek's cage.

"Hello Dalek darling" She says in a sarcastic voice as the Dalek rolls back in fear, she raises an eyebrow smirking as she stalks closer to the deadly creature.

"The Shadow. The Shadow is here. You are The Shadow" The Dalek says in fear and Celeste tilts her head curiously.

"I'm the what now? And what I have done to make you so scared of me hmmmm?"

She stalks closer, her hands glowing as she feels rage at all the destruction the Daleks have caused. All the planets burned from their ruthless attacks, the children that screamed for mercy when they approached. It sickened her.

"He's coming you know" Celeste tells the Dalek quietly "The Oncoming Storm is coming Dalek"

The Dalek starts screeching in fear and rolls back against the cell wall, Celeste letting out a cold laugh.

"The Doctor, The Shadow and The Destruction" The Dalek screeches over and over as Celeste rolled her shoulders a sadistic smile overcoming her face.

A bright light emitted from her hands and she aimed it at the Dalek as Van Statten screamed at people to get her out of there but the door wouldn't open. Giving a merciless laugh, she broke the casing around the Dalek, the front of it breaking open. Looking into the Dalek eye from where it was trying to hide inside its shell.

"Hello darling, there you really are" Celeste smiled sadistically at the Dalek as her glowing hands faded and the glow in her eyes retreated back to their usual chocolate brown.

As she got dragged out of the Dalek cell and Celeste was still smiling as she was chained up and injected with the tranquilisers.

Some may say she was insane, others may say she had a death wish, but deep down she knew she was immensely angry about a war that wasn't even hers.
