Greenshadow x Reader chapter 10: Snowed in

Snow, yup, you thought you weren’t going to have a white Christmas, but just days after, it snowed, it snowed hard, really hard, very hard

You were out in the lawn shoveling up snow, Jack brought some Fire plants to help, and Mark was using what he called a “tactical shovel”

“for the last time, it's a tactical shovel, not just some dumb old shovel” Mark explained to Jack for like, the hundredth time, jack, on the other hand, wasn’t helping it, “yeah, yeah sure, whatever you say man” he replied sarcastically

“you just don’t understand the importance of this shovel,” he said and he Shoved the snow toward Jack, it missed

“sure, like it's as important as owning a ladder?” jack commented

“you and your dumb ladder” Mark talked back “besides, what happened to that Rake I bought you last year?”

“I'm still using it,” Jack said making sure the fire plants are doing well “thanks by the way”

“you’re welcome” Mark replied

You looked at both of them and shook your head, sometimes, you don’t even know, and little did you know that you were about to have some unexpected guests

“you smell that?” Mark said inhaling very deeply, “Cookies”

“not just cookies,” Jack said inhaling as well, “Christmas cookies”

You laughed “oh yeah, Petals, rainbow, and mom are baking special cookies for tonight, so no snatching you two”

“aww,” Mark said sadly

“but the cookies!” Jack Joined in

“you can have them later, besides your acting like babies”

“Who are you calling babies? He’s the baby, I'm a Man, a Grown Man” mark said standing straight with pride

“more like a baby man” Jack retorted

“what was that?”

“hm? What was what?”

“you called me a baby man didn’t you?”

“what? Me? Nononononono must be the wind” Jack said, then he mouthed you the words “baby man”

You chortled, trying to keep in the laugh, Mark looked at both of you in disgust “amateurs” he said to himself.

Later, you were helping decorate the Christmas tree, when Mark teased Jack with the Christmas lights “Hey Jack, Remember these?”

“no, mark, it was an accident, I did not intentionally wrap myself up last year, I thought you were over with it!”

“but you dyed your hair green again,” Mark said “you’d be a perfect… Seàn McTreelin”

“even your joke is terrible, but the idea of wrapping me up in that is more terrible,” he said handing you an ornament
