Jabrea
This past week has been the worst. I tested positive for covid and I haven't been able to leave my room, but Laila is making sure I'm taken care of properly.
I'm sick and going trying to get over a break up. God is really trying me on all levels.
My phone started ringing and it was a FaceTime call from Khalil
I answered and saw his face pop up
He's been keeping me company during this whole quarantine phase. Me and him are talking more and slowly starting to rebuild a bond of some sort. I feel really bad for never hearing him out and just ending what we had.
"Hey, how you feeling?" He asked
"A little better I have 3 days left" I said
"I know"
"What you doing and where you at?" I asked
"Well damn excuse me mom" he laughed
"Hush"
"I'm at home editing this YouTube video" he told me
Khalil has actually changed a lot and I'm proud of his growth. He's not in the streets anymore and now has his own YouTube channel which is doing so good.
"I learned a new Tik tok dance" i told him
"Oh word? Lemme see"
"Ima send it to you" I said and went to our messages then sent him my Tik tok dance
He went on pause to watch then came back laughing
"What's funny?"
"You bruh"
"Why? What I do"
"I'm not doing that dance" he shook his head
"I didn't ask you to do it"
"but I know you were going to try" He said
"fine then, I want a smoothie" I said
"Go make one"
"I'm quarantined remember and I can't leave the house"
"Want me to bring it to?"
"Yep" I said jokingly
"What's da addy"
"Wait you'll actually bring it to me?" I asked surprised
"You want me to?"
"Yes please" I said and sent him my address
"Alright where you want your smoothie from?" He asked
"Tropical Cafe"
"Alright I'll call you when I'm outside" he said then hung up
I opened my laptop and started watching Family reunion
30 minutes later my phone dinged and it was a message from Khalil letting me know he was outside
I put on my mask and went to unlock the doors. He was there holding my smoothie along with something else in a bag
"just sit it on the ground and I'll get it" I said
he sat them down and stepped back as I picked them up
"thank you" I said looking at him
"mhm you better eat it too" he said before walking away
I closed the door and walked back to my room
awww he got me a croissant sandwich that's so nice ugh I hate him
I heard my phone ringing making me stop and grab my phone answering it
"um yes?" i said seeing Khalil face appear
He had his phone in his lap as he was driving back home I assume
"you eating it?"
"I'm about to dang" I laughed
I got back in my bed and sat up my phone so he could see me and then began eating the sandwich
"I'm sleepy" I said
"Go to sleep then"
"No I don't wanna do that"
"well shut up"
"make me hoe"
"you lucky you got covid right now" he laughed
"you won't gone do nothing either wayyy" I said
"Jabrea I will fuck you until you can't walk anymore let's not play love"
"wait a damn minute" I said choking on my smoothie
"yea that's what I thought" he laughed
"shut up" I said
"you need to go to sleep"
"I'm not sleepy" I shrugged
"girl you just said you was tired a couple minutes ago"
"welppp it passed"
"go to sleep bruh and call me when you wake up" he said shaking his head
"ugh fine bye" I said before hanging up
I finished my sandwich and threw away my trash before getting back in bed and letting sleep taking over.
