Rizu POV
A couple of weeks have passed and soon we will arrive at Akio's island. Surprisingly the members have still warmly welcomed me to the crew without any issues.
"Oi Rizu! You can just leave it, we got it!" A member shouted at me as he carried a box and walked towards me. Holding the box full of food, I shake my head.
"No it's fine! I want to help! Besides I trained a bit with Vista earlier, so I can help." I state as I start heading towards the kitchen to drop the food off to Thatch.
"Hahhh, I guess its fine then. But we wanted to appear helpful and strong too..." Another member grumbled behind me causing me to widen my eyes slightly and smiling under my mask.
"I already know that you and everyone on this crew is helpful and amazingly strong. If anything I want to prove that to you. So let me help around sometimes." I say as I wave at them.
Opening the door to the kitchen, I'm met with a hug. "Rizu-nee!!" Akio shouts as he clomps himself onto my torso. "Hi, Akio." I say as I ruffle his hair and close the door behind me as I walk further into the room.
"Do you know where Thatch is?" I ask Akio and he nods his head excitedly and leads me a bit further.
"Thatch! Rizu-nee is here!~" Akio cheers as Thatch turns around.
"Oh Rizu! You didn't have to bring that here, someone else could've." Thatch speaks as he sets down some objects.
I chuckle lightly as I place the crate down in a place that Thatch pointed. "It's alright, I wanted to help. I don't want to seem useless and lazy around here anyways. So helping around with little things like this is nothing." I say as I lean against the wall and pet Akio's head.
"So, did you need help here??" I ask as I glance around the kitchen seeing crates scattered and members walking about outside the kitchen eating area.
"Nah, I'm good. Just putting some things away and getting stuff set. But since your here, how about I make you something." Thatch comments as he flashes me a smile and turns to grab his ingredients.
Raising my brow, I tilt my head to the side. "You don't have to. But what're you gonna make?" I ask with a small smile underneath my mask.
"You'll see~" Thatch chuckles out as he hushes Akio and I out of the kitchen and into the eating room right outside.
Taking Akio's hand, we sit down at an empty table. Outside the other members could be heard talking out bustling about.
"Rizu-nee! How was training??~" Akio asks with sparkles in his eyes as he looked at me. I could feel my heart clench at his cuteness and I pat his head.
"It was good! Ever since Marco introduced me to Vista to help with my training it really has helped." I reply as I think back to a couple hours ago where I was exhausted and couldn't move for a couple minutes after sparing with Vista.
I chuckle slightly as I rub my head. "Vista is really strong. I had a hard time keeping up with his skills, his techniques are really amazing too. Plus he gave me some really good tips on how to fight as well. Hmm...Everybody on this ship is really strong, maybe I should ask all of them to spare against me sometime. Possibly,I also want to fight against all the commanders one day, ya know?" I explain to Akio, as anyone could hear from my tone how amazed and excited I was to be talking about them.
"Hahahah yeah! But I think Rizu-nee is the coolest!" Akio comments, giving me a huge smile. I could feel myself melt as a huge smile comes onto my face. I pat his head,
