Clay entered the house and placed the bag of food on the counter. Stella heard the sound and ran out and hugged him. A smile found its way to his face.
C: Here are your THREE chicken littles and your ONE medium fry.
S: Why did you shout the numbers.
C: To be honest, I dunno.
S: Weirdo.
She ruffled his hair and he went out on the terrace. She soon followed after him but grabbed something. The little something was a bottle of champagne and 2 wine glasses. (Formal am I right, the posh people are quaking.)
She dangled the bottle in the air to show off what she grabbed. He rolled his eye but secretly thought she was the most adorable thing on this planet. Her figure was 5'6, which made him way taller than her. That added to the cuteness. But she was a feisty lady.
