Who Do You Like More? - Dark Pit x Reader x BestFriend!Pit

You and Pit walked around the mansion, laughing constantly at his cute little jokes. You both were the best of friends ever since you two got in and it was amazing. You would goof around, pull pranks, hang out or help the others on duties. You even teamed up in battles. It was fun until someone came in.

Dark Pit was invited into Smash and he's been with you guys ever since. You honestly couldn't help it, but you somehow like Dark Pit, or Pitoo as he Pit likes to call him that, a bit more than Pit. You were close friends with Dark Pit, but Pit was extra protective over you and didn't want you to go with a "bad boy" like him. Dark Pit didn't like that, he liked you a whole lot once he got here.

Seeing your pretty face and your beautiful form made his heart jump from time to time. He was always happy when you would hang out with him whenever Pit wasn't around or was busy. He was only nice to you and no one else. He didn't want you to see how bad he was. You would always giggle at his sweetness, and he would blush constantly at your giggles, thinking they're really cute. You would even call him his signature nickname, Pitoo since you found it really cute from Pit and Palutena.

He honestly didn't like to be called Pitoo, but he had an exception for you since you were more special to him than anything else in the world. He never thought he would grow such strong feelings for a girl like you. Seeing you everyday gave him a bit of joy and every time you went to watch him battle, he was happier and more confident and he would always win.

The only thing he didn't like, was that you were best friends with Pit. He wanted to be best friends with you but you've known Pit longer and you two were only close friends. He honestly was very jealous of Pit for coming in earlier than him and being best friends with you first. He despised it, he wanted you to be with him rather than Pit.

So one day, he was going to ask you who you liked more and hoped to the Underworld Gods (Not sure how to say this since I don't know the Kid Icarus series, sorry. ^^;) that you would like him more.

You and Dark Pit were hanging out today, since there was nothing else to do and Pit was busy fighting in a battle at the moment. You smiled while looking around, taking in the beautiful features of the garden. Dark Pit's heart wouldn't stop beating, cursing at himself for not knowing when he should ask you the question.

Suddenly, his red eyes glanced at the patch of red roses. He scoffed at himself for what he was thinking, but he wanted to be a sweet guy to you. He awkwardly made his way there and picked one of the roses out, slightly pricking himself in the process, making him sucks his finger a bit. You turned around to see what Dark Pit was doing and he slowly made it back to you.

He looked down at the ground, hoping you wouldn't see his massive blush on his face. He slowly showed the rose in his hand to you. "H-Here..." He said, gesturing to it. You blushed lightly at it and slowly took it out of his hand with a smile. "Th-Thanks Pitoo." His heart skipped a beat at his nickname and he looked at you, a small smile on his face with his blush still present.

"[Y-[Y/N], c-can I ask you something...?" His heart beat faster than ever, knowing that this time would finally come. You placed the rose into your hair and looked at him questioningly. "What is it, Pitoo?"

He couldn't help but look at how beautiful you looked with the rose in your [H/C] hair. It really made your beauty stand out and he was awed by it. He shook his head to try and concentrate with the conversation and cleared his throat, his blush never leaving his face. "Th-The thing is [Y/N]... wh-who do you like more, m-me... or that idiot Pit?"

He looked away in nervousness, hoping that you would definitely say him. You were taken aback by his question and blushed, wondering if you should tell him your feelings. But then, you couldn't help but smile a bit and walk up to him before planting a soft kiss on his cheek, Dark Pit's eyes widening in shock and surprise and looked at you.

You giggled softly and hugged him closely. "Honestly Dark Pit, it's you I like more. Sure Pit's my best friend but... i-it's just that I like you..." You said with a big blush spreading across your cheeks. Dark Pit's heart skipped a few beats and he hugged back tightly, smiling widely at your answer. He honestly felt like the happiest angel on Earth now.

"I'm glad... because I like you too, [Y/N]." You pulled away slightly and looked into his crimson eyes, smiling widely and suddenly kissing him on the lips, Dark Pit's eyes widening again with a blush but he soon kissed back happily. Once you two pulled away, you leaned your forehead against his with a happy sigh.

"I'm so glad you feel the same way, Pitoo..." He chuckled a bit and kissed your nose softly. "I am too, [Y/N]... I am too."

Once you told Pit and Palutena the news, they couldn't even believe it. "Are you sure you want to go with a guy like him, [Y/N]?" Pit asked for the tenth time, making you pout and cross your arms. "Of course, Pit! He's so sweet to me so I think he'd be a great boyfriend."

"But-"

"Um, excuse me but, I think [Y/N] and I have a date to go to."

Dark Pit cut in, holding your hand, making you blush lightly and smile a bit. "O-Oh... yeah. Sorry Pit, Palutena. W-We'll see you guys later." You waved to them both before gesturing to Dark Pit that you were ready. With a smirk, he pulled you alongside him outside the mansion. He looked back towards Pit and gave him a smirk while sticking his tongue out to him, making Pit mad and about to rush to him but Palutena stopped him.

"Leave him be Pit..." He looked towards Palutena in shock. "B-But Lady Palutena..."

"Don't worry about [Y/N]. She'll be fine. I've seen her and Pitoo hanging out while you were busy with battles and he's a sweetheart to her. So there's nothing to fear, those two were meant for each other," she said in a serious tone, but smiled a bit.

Pit pouted in defeat but sighed, crossing his arms. "Fine... As long as [Y/N]'s fine, I'm happy for her... and Pitoo I guess..."
