RAPID HEARTBEATS WERE HEARD. your mind got filled with worries thinking there was something wrong.
you laid on the hospital bed as your obstetrician pour more of the gel in the ultrasound probe then using it on your belly again.
you were 4 months pregnant and it went by very smoothly. except for the weird cravings and being too emotional. your mom was getting worried for you despite knowing how pregnancy works. she was worried because she got home from work once and saw you dipping pickles in a nutella while crying over a refrigerator commercial.
"is everything okay? why is it moving so fast?" you asked worried as you grip tightly on your mom's hand.
"it's okay, y/n. that's how a baby's heart should sound." she smiled
you sighed in relief but that was shortened when the doctor said, "oh!"
"what happened?" you and your mom asked simultaneously panicking.
"oh, i didn't mean to alarm you, it's just that... there was a second heart beat..."
"a baby with two hearts?! i didn't know i was pregnant when i ate that brownie i swear—"
