The Scarlett Soldier

My name is Scarlett Buchanan Barnes, the daughter of James Buchanan Barnes, the Winter Soldier. I was born in a HYDRA facility when my parents were taken. Since then, I have been trained, experimented on, and tortured. I am now fifteen. All I've ever known is HYDRA, nothing else. I was given the name 'The Scarlett Soldier'.

I never knew my mom. All I know is that she died from a failed HYDRA experiment when I was only six years old. Years later, I was forced to undergo the same experiment. Unfortunately, I lived and now I'm stronger than ever.

I never knew my dad either. He escaped HYDRA two years ago. I don't know who he is, or where he is, or if he is even alive.

It's torture living in HYDRA, literally. Whenever I don't comply to an order or simply speak without permission, I would return to my cells hours later, covered in cuts and bruises. Sometimes I would be transfered to different bases every couple months. Go, train, fight, kill, return. Over and over again. I hate being a HYDRA soldier. An assassin. A project. Whatever you want to call me.

The only joy I could get from being here was from my best friend, William 'the Forest Soldier' Reeds, but I called him Will, no one under the age of 40 should be called William. He was only a year older than me, sixteen. He was tall with brown hair and brown eyes.

So, yeah, this is my life. Stuck being an assasin for HYDRA. This life... it sucks.
