"These gamma readings are definitely consistent with past records of the Tesseract. But this'll take weeks to process" Yami says while scanning Leander's scepter
"If we bypass their mainframe and direct route to the Homer cluster we can clock this at around 600 teraflops" I say
"Heh, all I was able to pack was a toothbrush" he says
"You know Yami, you're always welcome to come by Takashi Industries. We could always use someone like you in our labs" I say
"Thanks, but you know that I'm not good with lots of people" he says
"I can assure you that it's a stress free environment. No tension, no surprises" I say
Just to mess with him, I poke him in the side pretty hard.
"Ouch!" He says
"Huh, so you'll transform when I talk but not when you're surprised. At least maybe not this time" I say
"Ryuji! Are you nuts?!" Cap asks while walking in here
"Oh come on Cap, I'm curious about something and you know I like to know things. Dang Yami, you've really got a lid on your green friend, even without my bracelet. What's your anger management secret? I have a certain blonde friend who could learn from you" I say
"Ryuji, we are on an airship! Now isn't the time to go poking around at dangerous things!" Cap says
"Lighten up Cap, I'm just curious as to what makes him pop" I say
"Is everything a joke to you?" He asks
"Funny things are" I say
"Threatening the safety of everyone on this ship isn't funny. No offense, Yami" he says
"I-It's ok. I wouldn't have come aboard if I couldn't handle surprises" Yami says
"Come on Yami, stop tip toeing around and start strutting" I say
"Ryuji, you need to focus on the main problem" Cap says
"You think I'm not? Let me ask you something, why did Frost only bring us here now and not before? What isn't he telling us? I can't do the equation without all the variables" I say
"Do you think he's hiding something from us?" Cap asks
"Cap, it's his job to hide things. Hell, his secrets have secrets! It's bugging Yami too, isn't it?" I ask
"U-Uh...I-I just want to finish my work here, and..." Yami stutters
"Yami?" Cap says
Yami thinks for a moment.
"A warm light for all mankind...That was Leander's jab at Frost about the cube" he says
"I heard it" Cap says
"I think that was meant for you" Yami says while pointing to me
"Me, huh? Why's that?" I ask
"You're arc reactor technology has been quite the talk in the energy business ever since you made one for U.A to power the school" he says
"Well there's only one other one in the world, that's in a Takashi Industries tower back in New York actually. My dad is there a lot so I just made him one for here" I say
"You mean that big ugly tower belongs to your family?" Cap jokes
"Watch yourself" I say
"It's a self sustaining energy source. That building will run itself for, what, a year?" Yami asks
