I'm just waiting for that one day,
When I can finally run away,
When I finally put to use what i have taught myself,
Loving and caring only for oneself. That one day when I would need no one's help anymore,
When I don't need to fight for myself till my throat's sore,
When I don't have to worry about people's opinion,
And no more have to pretend to be someone's minion.I can be like the free bird who might not own anything,
But flies on her own will without caring of any taunting,
She'll be the one with a melodious voice,
Who sings all day and never once cries. She wouldn't have to worry about a single thing,
Except for staying alive and breathing,
She might not always be happy but she'll know she tried,
And she'll always be satisfied. When that time will come,
The person who'll be able to stop me will be none,
I'll be my own destiny,
My own The One, my own lover, my own honey. And for that day, I won't just wait,
I'll keep trying to make it come sooner, a little unlate,
So I can take my revenge a little early,
But my freedom? It'll come surely.
