IT WAS THE BRINK OF dusk in the town of Kadota, Abserseen. People were either late night hanging out, sleeping peacefully, irritated by the barking dogs nearby of Mr. Grouch, or watching the television in such an hour. But for these teenagers, they decided doing a camping trip in the deep forest near the lake, since they'll be graduates soon enough and go to college.

Two of the people, in particular, were still awake, swimming around in the dark lake, relaxation felt as they collided with the water that seemed as black as the night sky from above. The darkness engulfed them, and they couldn't see that as much but enough even if there was freckled stars in the black canvas.

The brunet grinned, diving under the waters as a splash hitted the girl, making her laugh amusingly, her hands pulled up in instinct when it had happened far too quickly. She looked around, the dark liquid flowing each time she moved left and right to try finding him.

"Hey, Cole??" She hollered, furrowing her brows to find no response given to her. Her expression fell from happiness to worry, staying in the spot she floated until she felt somebody pulling her downwards slightly, making her widen her eyes and scream in instinct.

But then she heard a splash from above, seeing her boyfriend right infront of her, laughing his ass off and holding onto her waist with both hands; he felt as though this was the most funniest prank to even make to his girlfriend. Though the reaction he got left him with bad results, seeing her shoot him with an annoyed look, plastered on her features.

"I hate you! What if you really were gone?!" She lightly punched his chest, scowling at him.

He chuckled softly staring at the girl infront of her with eyes full of amusement and enthusiasm, "Well, I definitely won't disappear at all, Jamie. And I love you too."

That made her frown vanish to a bashful look, her cheeks reddened. It was only to her luck that he couldn't even see it because of the lack of light surrounding them, it made her feel alright, and if so, better. She knew he'll shower her with teasing comments even more if he noticed it in broad daylight.

"I- I love you more." She smiled, nuzzling her nose with his freckled ones, the boy grinning ear to ear from this action she initiated them to do. His light brown skin and her olive ones shone underneath the moonlight, as it cascaded to the heavy bodies of water as well.

His grip on her finally went loose, until it went to his sides, a lopsided grin on his face when he watched her swim over to the shore with a laugh. "Come on now!" She cooed cheekily.
