okay yeah I'm freaking sad this book is over because <athenablake3 and <rickybowen3 are like one of my favorite original couples (belle and percy come in a close second, shoutout to you if you've read the belle trilogy) and I literally love this story with all of my heart. however, I'm not too too sad because there will be a sequel !!!!!

hsmtmts season two comes out on may fourteenth as you already know which means that the sequel will be out on may sixteenth, following my weekly updates of sunday & wednesday up until season two ends. I'll post an announcement at the end of this book when it's out so keep your eyes open until then. THIRTY THREE DAYS UNTIL SEASON TWO AND THIRTY FIVE DAYS UNTIL THE SEQUEL. AND THE TRAILER BRB CRYING. season two looks so amazing already I can't. and ricky looks so good pls I'm such a simp. no wonder athena's so in love with him ugh. speaking of her, athena is going to POP OFF next season especially with that blonde girl lily who's trying to steal ricky 😩🤚🏻 like girl do you know who you're messing with? especially with violetta by her side? RATHENA ENDGAME BITCHES. they're about to go full on better than revenge no joke

this is a lily hate account now. no hate to olivia rose keegan though she seems LOVELY and she's honestly so talented because she managed to portray a character like lily so well in the two seconds we saw her that I already don't like her. stay in your lane lily but all the love to olivia <33333

okay so it's been confirmed that carlos is playing lumiere and ricky (I think) is playing beast. might fuck around and make athena belle lol. she would fit the role I think. also might fuck around and make her and ricky audition together with edge of great. anyways out of like the maybe three episode titles we got I'm most excited for the valentine's day episode bc IT'S GONNA BE RICKY AND ATHENA'S FIRST VALENTINE'S DAY PLS. AND THE CHRISTMAS EPISODE ASKDNSEIFOSIEJN HE'S GONNA SING HER A SONG BC HE CAN'T AFFORD A PRESENT I'MMA CRY

also apparently there's still going to be songs from hsm in season two, so like, if I make ricky and athena sing you are the music in me . . . then what? or if they're having relationship problems and miss jenn coincidentally makes them sing gotta go my own way . . . AHHHH THERE'S SO MANY POSSIBILITIES

all right all right enough of me fangirling. even though athena & ricky will be returning, I want to say some things about this book and athena because they deserve it :)

I've enjoyed writing this book so so much. it was kind of a spontaneous decision from me back in december. I was inspired after seeing a tiktok of luke patterson & ricky bowen and I was like holy shit my two boys. literally that was when I rediscovered how in love I was with ricky. at the time, I was still writing my luke patterson fic (shoutout to my just for a moment readers which has also just reminded me how much I miss emilia) bc he's the love of my life and I was like "hey let's add the other love of my life to my wattpad account and make a ricky fic!!!"

therefore, perfect harmony was born. I chose that name because I made my jatp fic title a hsmtmts song so I decided to make my hsmtmts fic title a jatp song. so here we are 🤠 no but seriously. perfect harmony is the perfect song for this fic in my opinion because athena and ricky really did say they were friends and play pretend. nobody was buying it. not even them tbh.

and athena. my baby girl. naming her and artemis after greek goddesses was such a power move. ANYWAYS athena is literally one of my favorite oc's ever. I don't even know how to explain it, I just literally love her so fucking much. she's adorable and writing her stumbling through her relationship with ricky was so fun. my babies 🥺

also violetta & ej !!!!! bye I stan violetta so much. her and athena are like the perfect dynamic duo. making her date ej was sort of a last minute decision but ngl I think they work together really well. like vi can calm his ego down within seconds with a sarcastic comment. they'll work great I know it.

thank you thank you thank you to all of the readers who have taken their time to read this story about two best friends that came together as lovers. all of the reads, votes, and comments seriously mean the world to me and make my day so much brighter. like this book just hit 21k reads like that's so freaking insane. perfect harmony wouldn't be where it is today without all of you. so, once again, thank you.

anyways, I'm gonna leave you with a hint of what the title of book two will be. you've probably already guessed it's another jatp song but you have to figure it out with these clues <333

- my favorite song on the jatp soundtrack that happened to make it on my spotify top songs of 2020 because I listened to it so much in the span of three months
- according to multiple sources it has been my most listened to song the past six months
- undoubtedly one of the best julie and luke moments in the show occurs during this song
- alliteration (this is a big hint)
