Part 26 || park

Y/N's POV

I was walking on the streets and I passed by a convenience store that was open 24/7. I checked my pockets and I didn't have any money. I was about to walk away when I remembered that I keep emergency money in my phone case. I took my phone and perfect! I had enough to buy some stuff. I entered and went to the noodle section. It's been cold lately so I thought I'd get something hot. I paid for my stuff and went over to the counter to pour some hot water.

Y/N: "ahhh this smells so good" I closed my eyes excited to eat. Surprisingly there were other people sitting on the chairs so I had to eat somewhere else. Looks like it's the park for me. I didn't feel like eating at home since I felt kinda stuffy in there. I grabbed extra chopstick knowing I'll probably drop mine with how clumsy I am.

I walked out of the store and it took around a minute of walking to get to the park. I was about to sit down on one of the benches when I heard someone crying. I went closer to the sound and it was someone crying by a tree. I went behind it and listened to the person.

Unknown: "I miss you... I really really do *sobs*" wait is that, Heeseung?

Y/N: "Heeseung?" He looked up at me with his red teary eyes. He looked shocked and stood up once he knew it was me.

Heeseung: "y-y/n! Wha-what are you doing here?" He said wiping his tears

Y/N: "why were you crying?" Mind you I was still holding onto my precious noodles

Heeseung: "I'm not! I- i was just- some dirt when into my eye!" He chuckled nervously and scary he scratched the back of his neck.

Y/N: "come on I know we only just met but you can tell me. I won't judge you or say anything to the others, and while you're sharing why you're here late at night crying we can share these noodles I bought" I said showing him happily the noodles. He smiled and we both sat down on the foot of the tree beside its roots.

I gave him my extra chopsticks and we both slurped some soup and noodles at the same time. We both giggled and looked out onto the view

Heeseung: "thanks this cheered me up" I smiled

Y/N: "so instead of me asking questions why don't you start" he nodded

Heeseung: "well I couldn't fall asleep so I thought I'd take a walk and I didn't notice but I just ended up here"

Y/N: "but then, why were you crying? You said you miss someone?" He stiffened and bit his bottom lip

Heeseung: "ye-yeah theres this special someone that I haven't seen in a long time" he paused and slurped more noodles "I really miss her and I wish I could just hold her into my arms and keep her safe" I smiled sadly. I wanted to ask more about her but it might make him more sad.

Y/N: "sounds like this person was really important to you"

Heeseung's POV

Heeseung: "yeah she really was. She changed me into a better person and slowly I never realized her affect on me"

Y/N: "wow you're lucky you have someone like that" I looked at her curiously

Heeseung: "you don't?"

Y/N: "well there is this guy who's been popping up in my dreams a lot before but I never got a clear look at him or what his name is" I nodded

Heeseung: "so how about you? What are you doing here late at night? You know it's not safe right?" I warned her

Y/N: "yeah but same as you I couldn't sleep so I thought I'd take a walk out and then I heard crying and that turned to our situation right now" she chuckled which made me chuckle as well. Her smile it was so... comforting. Am I moving on from y/n? No no no she just made you smile once that meant nothing! You're waiting for y/n because when she wakes up you're gonna get her back and we'll be together. I noticed she was wearing the red hoodie from a while ago so I decided to ask her about it

Heeseung: "hey uhmmm I was wondering, where'd you get that hoodie?" She looked at me

Y/N: "oh this one?" She said pinching it and lifting it slightly "I don't even know... I just found it in my closet" ohhh "so anyway, let's get to know each other" she smiled facing me. I'm getting another deja vu... "what do you like doing? I mean I know you're already the CEO of your family's company right? But aside from that what do you like doing?"

Heeseung: "I really love dancing and singing, actually just to become an idol in short. Putting a smile on peoples face makes me really happy"

Y/N: "wow that sounds like a nice dream"

Heeseung: "how about you? What do you like doing?"

Y/N: "I like dancing and singing too but I like dancing more" woah we actually have a few common interests

Heeseung: "what's your favorite dance routine?"

Y/N: "it's Taemin's Criminal and Kai's mmmh" wait what? This can't be a coincidence right? She could've chosen any song in the world but she chose those 2? "I know it's a boy dance but I just love how it's expressed and it's easier to go freestyle with it"

Heeseung: "o-ohh"

She was about to take another slurp of the noodles but she dropped her chopsticks

Y/N: "shucks!" I felt bad so I gave her mine

Heeseung: "here" She looked at me surprised

Y/N: "wha-what? N-no! It's ok you can have it. It's my fault I dropped it anyway"

Heeseung: "still. Just take it, it'll make me feel better" she gave me a questioned look but took the chopsticks and slurped more noodles. Wait did we just indirectly kiss! I frowned at the memory when me and y/n almost kissed here.

Y/N: "thanks, you can have the last one" she handed me the bowl and I slurped it dry

Heeseung: "ahhhh that was good thanks for the noodles it really made me feel better" I stood up and threw it inside the trash can

We sat here below the tree for a few more minutes, but I noticed y/n keeps smelling/sniffing the hoodie

Heeseung: "why do you keep smelling that?"

Y/N: "I don't know, the smell makes me feel warm and comfortable" Interesting

Heeseung: "well what does it smell like?"

Y/N: "hmm it smells like coffee and sunshine"
