Legolas invited Wanda into the forest for a walk, "this is where I patrol, sometimes I climb up that tree" he pointed to one of the tallest trees "just to hide and be alone" Legolas explained

Wanda smiled. "This forest is very beautiful, but also this forest holds sadness, I can feel it in my head. They are sad, grieving, and it's been happening for thousands of years."

"because they are" Legolas answered with a wry smile

They continued walking until they reached the front gate of the mirkwood border, Wanda saw a she-elf statue covered with creeping dry leaves. Wanda approached the statue and cleaned the leaves from it "who is she? She's beautiful" Wanda asked

"She's my mother," Legolas said simply

Wanda turned towards Legolas, her face was a little shocked "I know your mother died, they never tell in books or movies how your mother died. We don't even know her name" Wanda said.

"So do I, I do not know her name either." Legolas smiled bitterly

"What?" Wanda stared in surprise
"There's a place called Angmar. My mother died there, my father does not speak of it. There is no grave, no memory, nothing" Legolas lowered his head and fell silent

Wanda's face softened, she approached Legolas and lifted his chin "I also know what it feels like to lose someone, I lost my parents, my brother, my children, and my husband, and I lost my home too, No place feels like home to me" Wanda smiled.

"You can stay here as long as you want. Think of it as your home"

Wanda smiled "I'll think about it" Wanda then smiled broadly "now, do you bring lembas? I'm very curious about that food!" Wanda asked excitedly

"Of course I brought it" Legolas answered amusedly, he then looked at Wanda for a while "You feel very familiar Wanda, very familiar, like we have known each other for a long time" Legolas smiled warmly at Wanda and she smiled back.

At night Wanda couldn't sleep, she decided to go to the garden and see the stars. Wanda was only pensive for a moment, she closed her eyes and let the night breeze hit her face and made her hair flutter. Wanda then opened her eyes only to find  king Thranduil looking at her with a disbelief face "oh your majesty, you startled me" Wanda said in shock.

Thranduil approached Wanda "why aren't you sleeping yet? Humans usually need time to rest" Thranduil asked, but he didn't  take his eyes off Wanda's face.

"I can't sleep" Wanda answered

"And why is that?"

"I still can't believe all this after what I did. I faked a reality, and now I don't know if you are real or just a part of my power." Wanda said gloomily

"It depends on you, you are in control of what you believe. It is all in your hands, whether we are real or not, it's in here" Thranduil touched Wanda's forehead with his index finger "and here" Then he slowly touched Wanda's chest, close to her heart, trying not to touch another part

Wanda smiled at Thranduil "thank you" But her face turned confused "The first time we met, you almost cut me with your sword because you accused me of using someone else's face. Who is that?" Wanda asked in confusion

Thranduil was a little surprised to hear Wanda's question, but still, his face didn't give any expression "someone I know" he answered simply

"And if you don't mind may I ask one more question?" Wanda asked again

Thranduil nodded "of course" he replied softly

"What is the name of Legolas' mother? And why don't you tell Legolas the name of his mother?"

Thranduil stared "tha .... That's none of your business Maximoff" Thranduil said sharply

Wanda raised her eyebrows "I know, but at least tell him what his mother's name is, you don't know how much he misses her. And how close you are to him? When was the last time you said you loved him?" Wanda bombarded Thranduil with her chatter

"Enough!" Thranduil raised his voice a little "It seems like talking to you is a big mistake. I gave you a little kindness and you dare to be presumptuous!" Thranduil then turned around and intended to leave with a face filled with anger

*Angmar. My mother died there, my father does not speak of it. There is no grave, no memory, nothing.* "That's what he told me today, you don't know how devastated he felt when he saw his mother's statue but he didn't know her at all, not even her name. If you love him, at least let him know that you love him "Wanda scolded Thranduil, she didn't care anymore if she messed up with the Elvenking.

Thranduil turned around, Wanda saw Thranduil's gaze softening, and there were tears that almost fell from his eyes "you have no idea how much I love him" Thranduil then left Wanda.
