The sound of a camera clicking and shoes squeaking across the floor were the main things that could be heard on this one specific afternoon at the volleyball courts. Hayami couldn't help herself when it came to taking photos of her young daughter to keep as memories for when she would show them off to her in the future. Mitsuko's uncle had been nice enough to give her his spare jersey. The item of clothing reached the floor when placed on the small girl but with a few safety pins securely tucked in here and there, it was ready to wear when Mitsuko was invited down to practice with the team.

So far, they had been doing jumping practice with Mitsuko and most of the team's shocked faces caught the attention of Hayami.

"What's with all the weird faces?" I stand up from my seat at the bench and go to stand by the side of the court. Bokuto asked Mitsu to jump as high as she could once more and when she landed back on her feet his face beamed. Shoyo had even joined the pair now and was cheering along with Bokuto. "And to think he's older than me..." I mumble under my breath with a small smile on my face.

"Haya did you see that?" Sho asked me but I felt kinda dumbfounded at this moment. Luckily for me, he caught onto my confusion and started jumping up and down causing Mitsu to join in. "She's got a good jumping ability" he stopped talking so he could make himself jump even higher so that Mitsu would try even harder as well, only then did I notice. "You see it now don't you?

It was true. Mitsu was able to jump higher than someone of her age but obviously due to her current lack of height it didn't look like her jumping ability made that much of a difference. "Looks like it isn't just you who got blessed" I nudged Sho's arm to which he chuckled a bit and nudged me back.

"You've got a gift as well or did you forget?" His wiggled his eyebrows at me and his teasing tone caught the attention of Bokuto.

"Has Hayami got some insane superhuman ability as well?" Me and Sho both stifled our laughs but ended up snickering quietly to each other.

Shoyo walked over to Bokuto and rested an arm on the older's shoulder. Correction, tried to but maybe kinda failed. "We aren't superhuman Bokuto-san but yes Hayami was actually the fastest runner all throughout our school lives, she's probably still the fastest even now" I hated dwelling on and thinking about the past because most of it didn't contain good memories but it was nice to know that my super talented and successful brother is impressed with some of my talents.
He wasn't wrong though. I have always been extremely good at running no matter if it was a long distance race or a short distance one I always ended up winning or talking second place. The few times I didn't win were because of a few ankle injuries I had gained over the years. I didn't like speaking of my running success because it made me feel like I was bragging which I hated, so I never brought it up unless Shoyo, Natsu or my parents did.
