Wearily my eyes opened, and my cheek was on the cold tiled floor. The water was still chilling me to the bone. My unsteady hands flattened out onto the floor, and I pushed myself up to a sitting position.

The ringing in my ears left me deaf to anything around me. Goosebumps pricked my skin, my shaking hands reached to turn the water off, but my hand slipped off the metal handle, making my head smack against the tile.

The ringing got worst, and my eyes started feeling heavy. Sometimes I wonder how bad my luck can get, but this is an all-time high. The water will either give me hypothermia from how fucking cold it is, or it will drown me when I eventually become unconscious.

Looking at the window in the bathroom, I saw the sunlight outside and stayed focused on the view of the sun rising. It seemed to be about the time we would leave for school. I hope they don't leave without me. Slowly everything started to fade away, and my body didn't feel so cold.

I reached up to my forehead and felt a warm liquid and a stinging sensation. I jerked my hand away, realizing that it was blood. I just felt so tired, and my mind was convincing me to let my body shut down, and I was slowly giving in. Before I could fall any deeper into unconsciousness, I saw an angry Giani walk into my room.

I could see him thru the open door of my bathroom. His arms were waving around, and he looked like he was shouting, but I couldn't hear what he was saying. My hearing started tuning in, and bits and pieces of what he was saying could be heard.

"I'm taking you to school... the twins left already... where the fuck are you... you are twenty minutes late..." My brain was screaming at me to get his attention. Everything was starting to feel cold, and that isn't a good thing. Out of all the dangerous shit I have done, this will take me to my long-awaited end.

Slowly his footsteps led to the bathroom, and the door creaked open farther, so he could see me. At first, he didn't see my lying on the bathroom floor, but then he looked thru the glass, and his eyes landed on me.

He acted fast and reached into the shower and turned the water off. Then he stepped into the shower and started yelling at me while he crouched down. Instead of the ringing in my ears, I heard nothing. Absolute silence, and it was amazing.

My eyes started feeling heavy, but Giani acted fast and sat onto the floor, lifting my head onto his lap. I could read his lips, and he was saying something along the lines of 'stay the fuck awake.' If I weren't close to being unconscious, I would have laughed.

I realized he had the phone to his ear, but that was all I saw before my body stopped fighting and my eyes closed. My shoulders started to shake from someone gripping onto me and trying to wake me.

I don't know if my eyes were just closed, and my senses were tuning in on whatever they pleased. I felt someone lifting me after a couple of minutes and lifted onto a cushion-like surface. I realized it was a stretcher when we started rolling, and sticky pads for the heart monitor placed onto my chest.
