ROSLYN'S POV:

I almost choked when he disclosed this. What if he told him what happened back there? I don't want Uncle or anyone else to know about this or they'll not let me step there again ever. My heart raced at thoughts of possible things that he might have told him. My fingers crossed, I spoke,

"And what he said? "

"He just wanted me to let you know that club will be closed for two days. He said your phone wasn't reachable so he had to call me. " he replied, continuing to eat.

"Um... Did he tell you anything else?" I questioned, suppressing the nervousness in my chest.

"Umm.... No. Was there anything else?" he asked me doubtfully.
I shook my head as a no and continued with my meal, taking a sigh in relief.

This is getting more and more weird. Why would he close the club? Not that there's any function or event coming up. Also, there's no way he'd call me to inform about it. He has been acting weird after the incident. I wonder who slapped his mind on its place?

"So now that you have a free day, we're going out on a picnic." Liam added cheerfully.
"Um... I think, I'll pass. I have some important work to finish. You kids can go. " Uncle Michael denied and we shared a look.

"Uncle, you don't have to work so hard. We can take a break." Theo remarked, getting our support on this.

We rarely spend time together, outside as uncle is always busy with some work. It might be difficult for him too but at least we deserve one day together. After I graduated my high school, he never took us out anywhere. It's either Nat or both these dorks taking me out.

"Pleasee..!" I requested, making puppy eyes.
He chuckled.

"Now how do I deny my sweetest girl? We'll go." he announced happily.

I clapped my hands. Liam and Theo were burning in jealously in the corner. We began talking about things that we'll need to pack. If we give this job to Liam and Theo, they'll take whole house along with them. I remember last time when I went on a school trip, they made me pack a whole ass luggage.

"But where are we going ? " Liam asked, finishing his meal.

"How about that new park nearby? "Theo suggested.

"Yeah, we've never gone there. It was opened last month." I commented.

"We can go somewhere else. " Uncle Michael suggested. Maybe he doesn't like that place. We were debating on spot selection just when Theo bro's phone rang with an incoming text.

He glanced over at the screen and his face formed a frown. He looked back at me, drawing his lips in a thin line as if worried about something.

"Liam and I won't be able to join you guys. I just got an important work to finish." he explained.

I pouted, disappointed. This is what happens every time we set plans. I stood up, crossing my arms.

"I'm so sorry Roz, it's important." he said.
"And what is so important to you? " I scoffed. Theo sighed, standing up while I took up empty dishes and walked towards the kitchen to place them inside the sink.

"Don't be angry mini. We'll go out this Sunday." he followed me inside the kitchen, standing behind me.

"Yeah Yeah.. " I mocked him.
He sprung me around to face him; His hands hung around my shoulder. He leaned down.

"I'm sorry mini. Now look at me and say you forgave me." he smiled.
"No." I tried to get out of his grip. He held my wrist just where I was hurt.
