Remember in the middle of the night
when we sat together outside
You looked at the sky and told me
that you loved the night sky and stars
You loved how the stars light up the night
sparkle like diamonds while shining bright
I could see the happiness in your eyes
every time you looked at the sky
Had so much to say but instead, I just smiled
Sad, isn't it? How the moon and the sun
belong to the same sky yet every time
the moon hides in the dark when the sun appears
Just the way I hide all my feelings and my desires
We're living under the same sky yet so far
Maybe it was what's written in our stars
The stars, that didn't let us to be ours
But can't we just rewrite our stars?
Is it really that impossible to do?
Is it that impossible for you to look at me
the same way you looked at the sky?
Maybe I should just stop hoping for it,
Shouldn't I?
