ANIDITA - THE BARRISTER COUPLE

Somnath ke Shaadi ki baat

Bondita wore a red silk saare, her hands were full of bangle , tied her hair into one braid , wore a kamarbandh around her waist her braid passing through her kamarbandh. She put wide  sindoor in her mang , a bindi on forehead and a stroke of kajal in her eyes. She got ready because it was her first day after her return in Roy Chaundhary mansion so she wanted to look like a proper Bengali Daughter-in-law of zamindaars.

No sooner did she got ready and was about to leave Anirudh came out of the bathroom wearing a traditional bengali dhoti kurta. They both adored each other a while and then said.

Ani- Aaj koi tyohaar hai?

Bon- Nhi to.

Ani- To tum itna saji hui?...

Bon- Kyu nhi sj skti kya?

Ani- Nhi mera wo mtlb nhi tha..

Bon- Pati Babu aap rehne dijiye.....aapke saare mtlb ache se smjhti hu me.

Ani- Areey!

Bon(continued)-Wese to aapne bhi aaj ache kapde pehne hue to mene kuch kaha kya??...

Ani- Sorry Madam Bondita roy chaudhary.( held his ears and made an innocent face)

Bon- Its ok.(made an innocent face too)

Ani- Wese tum bohot khoobsoorat dikh rhi ho... auti Shundor.

Bon(blushed)-Thank you pati babu...Ap bhi bohot ache dikh rhe hain.

Anirudh(blushed too)- Thank you Mishti.

Bon- Mujhe aarti bhi krni hai.. chaliye aap bhi mere saath,Ksj ko acha lgega.

Ani- Ha chalo.

Both went down for Arti. After Arti all were heading to their room when Bondita said

Bon- Kaha jaa rhe hain aap sb?

Batuk- Apne apne kamre me aur kaam pe.

Bon- Nashta?

Batuk- Wo boudi..kaka aur baba apna nashta apne kamre me hi krte hain aur me , dada aur somnath dada apna nashta kaam ke beech jhaalmudhi ya koi fal kha ke kr lete hai.

Bon- Pr aap sbka nashta bn chuka hai. Aur aaj ke baad sb saath me nashta krnge Aur(looking towards Anirudh) Koi bhi bina nashta kiye apne kaam pe nhi jayega! (She ordered)

Som- Waah boudi... kitni achi baat kahi hai aap ne(excitingly)

Everyone gave him a look for his dumb reaction.

Ksj- Waah bahu! sahi kaha tumne koi nhi jayega bina nashta kiye kaam pe .... Humari grahlaxmi humari Annapoorna laut aayi hai.... bohot samay ho gya saath me khaana khaaye hue... koi saath me bethke khaata hi nhi hai iss ghar me....

Bon- Chinta mt kijiye ksj.. me bhi Bondita hu , me bhi dekhti hu ki saath me bethke kon nhi khaata hai.

Everyone shared a laugh and went to the dinning table.

Bondita served them the breakfast she prepared. While she was serving the Breakfast her slim waist was visible from side, Anirudh's eyes got stuck on the waist few seconds. He shook his head and looked at everyone to check that no one noticed. He noticed that Batuk was watching him and smiling at him and then Anirudh pretended that there's nothing awkward and continued with the breakfast.

Som- Boudi achaar pass krona.

Bondita came towards him and bent to serve him achaar.

Som(whispering so that only Bondita could hear, but Batuk sitting next to him also was hearing)- Boudi kab?

Bon- Som dada dheeraj rkhiye.

Ksj- Areey bahu..

Bondita stood up with a jerk.

Ksj(continued)- Tum bhi khaao na.

Bon- Ji.

Bondita went and sat next to Batuk. Batuk leaned towards her and whispered

Batuk- Kya plan hai aap dono ka boudi?

Bon- Koi plan vlan nhi hai.

Bon(to ksj)- Ksj ab me badi ho gyi hu aur bachi nhi rhi..

Ksj- Ha bahu..

Bon- To saari zimmedariyan bhi aa gyi hai mujhpe.

Ksj- Ha bahu(with a happy tone)

Bon- Aur bohot akeli bhi pad jaungi kuch din me...

Batuk looked at her and gave her llok.

Bon- Nhi mera mtlb Batuk to hai par wo apni zamindaari me vyast rhega....aap log bhi hain .... par ek

Ksj(in mind)- Lgta hai khush khabri hai(very happy)

Bon(continued)- Ek dost jaisi koi jo mere umar ke aas paas hi ho aur jisse baatein kr sku aur jo mere saath humesha rhe ... aapko nhi lgta esi koi honi chaiye?

Ksj(disappointed)-Hmm..

Bon(still trying to convince)- Wese bhi college me itne saare dosto ke beech rehne ki aadat ho gyi thi mujhe to bs esa lg rha ki me yaaha akeli nhi pad jau.

Ksj- Haa bahu....

Ani- Mish... Bondita tum kehna kya chahti ho saaf saaf kaho na.

Bon- Kuch bs wo.. bs...

Ksj- Bolo na bahu

Bon(nervously but with a speed)- Somnath dada ki shaadi krado.

Everyone looked at her.

Bon- Wese bhi wo already 24 ke hain aur der ki to fir achi ladki nhi milegi.

Ani- Ha sahi keh rhi ho tum .(happily)

Ksj(in a happy tone)- Ha bahu ab Somnath ki shaadi ke baare me nhi socha to kab sochenge?

Batuk(pretending)(also teasing Som)- Koi ladki hai kya aapke nazar me?

Bondita and Somnath gave him a look. He immediately started to eat breakfast .

Ani- Hai kya Bondita?

Bon- Ha Pati Babu.

Binoy- Kon hai wo Bondita?

Bon- Wo Calcutta me Chaterjee babu hai na ?! unka beta mere college ka bohot acha dost hai usi ne bataya tha Varuni ke baare.... Varuni Ganguly Bombay me pali badhi hai aur padhi likhi bhi hai Anand Ganguly hai uske pita ka naam.. bohot shareef khaandan se hain aur kapdo ka vyaapar hai unka.

Somnath sat quietly without uttering a word.

Bon- Aur mene photo bhi dekhi hai uski.. bohot sundar hai aur Soham bata rha tha ki Sushil aur sanskaari bhi hai.. Thoda zada bolti hai aur hasmuskh bhi bohot hai par overall bohot guni aur achi ladki hai.. mujhse bs ek saal choti.

Batuk(teasing Somnath)- Phir to uski shaadi mujhse krdo.

Bondita glared at him and ordered with her eyes to shut up.

Ksj- Itna kese jaanti ho iss ladki ke baare me tum?

Bon- Areey wo Soham usko jaanta haina aur photo dekha tha to mene soch rkha tha in dono ke baare me.

Ani- Me chalta hun abhi bohot zaroori client se meeting hai aur iske baare me shaam me baat krenge.

Bon- Thik hai.
