~ Natasha POV ~

Private Message

Peter and Natasha.

Peter

Natasha, I need your help.

Natasha

Is it to do with y/n?

Peter

Yes

Natasha

Tell me what happened

Peter

So I kind of accidentally told her that I love her

Natasha

Okay... so what's the problem?

Peter

I don't know if she loves me back and I'm scared I was too forward

Natasha

Talking to her is the best thing to do. If you know what you want and how you feel, tell her

Peter

Okay. Thanks Natasha

Natasha

No worries Pete

~ Your POV ~

Private Message

Petey and Y/n.

Petey

Can we talk

Y/n

Is it about the thing

Petey

Yes

Y/n

Okay, meet me at starbucks in ten minutes

My leg bounced as I sat in the chair. I glanced towards the door of the café every few seconds, looking for Peter.

Why were things so complicated? He'd said 'I love you', which wasn't all that bad, and we'd caused a massive fuss. I knew that I loved him, but if that scared him, I wouldn't say it for a while. But it would have to be said sooner or later. After all, what's a relationship without love?

The door opened again and this time it was Peter. He looked around the café nervously before spotting me. He slowly walked over to me. My instincts told me to run, to leave this awkward and scary situation far behind me. But I found that I didn't want to. I wanted to know how this would end.

Peter sat down across from me. I had already ordered and gotten his drink for him. He smiled slightly, as if he was glad I remembered his order. He then looked me in the eye.

"I'm just going to address it - what I said on the phone is true. I do love you, but if you think it's too soon for you to know, I'm completely fine with that," Peter said.

I smiled in delight.

"Peter, I love you too. I was scared that maybe it was just a reflex for you to say that and that you didn't mean it," I said.

Peter smiled in relief.

"So we're good?" he asked.

I grabbed his hand and squeezed.

"We're good."
