Nandini let out a deep sigh as she stared at her husband who had gone extremely silent after seeing the marks on her arms. And as if that wasn't enough, he had spotted a scratch on her back too.

Though, he himself had applied medicine on her marks with utter most care, yet he wasn't able to breathe properly.

He was drowning in the pool of guilt and hadn't said a word to her because for him, saying anything meant, making excuses and he, for certain reasons believed in actions rather than words.

He wouldn't say sorry again and again, but he will let her know how sorry he really is through his actions.

However, seeing him silent for more than half an hour, Nandini sneaked her hand around his arm. Though it made him come out of his disturbed thoughts, he didn't open his mouth.

She kissed his forearm softly and pushed herself towards him, taking him in surprise. He had expected her to stay away from him after their ugly fight and Nandini had exactly thought of doing that.

She wanted to give him silent treatment until he realized his mistake and she wasn't sure if even after that she would be able to forgive him.

But, truth to be told, her heart melted the moment he wrapped his arm around her when she hugged him thinking him to be an illusion.

She didn't care for anything else that moment. She knew it was injustice to her self respect, and she hated to admit she had prioritised him over her own self, though she wasn't going to tell him the same.

As much as she wanted to say it was okay if he hurt her, she knew if she did, and he repeated it, she wouldn't be able to take it. 

Nandini: Manik,

She called out and he looked down at her, immediately at that instant. 

Nandini: You disappointed me so much.

She felt his features changing, his worried expressions changing into the one she saw when he realized that he had physically manhandled her in his anger.

Nandini: I thought after this you will pamper me, but you are sitting all silent.

She spoke and watched his expressions turn into blank. It broke her heart seeing her ever so chirpy husband like that but she could actually do nothing.

Manik: M-Mai kya karu tumhare liye?

He asked, not completely sure of his choice of words but as he saw her smile widening, he felt relief washing all over himself.

Manik: Btayo?

Nandini: Murga ban jaiye

She tried her best to keep a poker face, expecting him to be shocked and shout in shock.

Manik: Okay

And even before Nandini could speak he was out of the bed all ready to bend down and hold his ears. However, she stopped in mid, completely astonished at his actions.

Nandini: Manik! Aise koi kuch bhi bolega aap kardoge? 

Manik: Tum koi nahi ho!

He stated, cupping her cheek and stroking it gently trying to make her believe how much she meant to him. How much he loved her or how guilty he was of his own actions.
