"I just think dolphins deserve more hype. You know?" I nodded, listening to Abby go on and on as everyone else in our friend group talked amongst each other.

"Amar, can I talk to you?" Everyone looked over to see who it was, and realizing it was Marcus, they watched as I walked over to him.

"Hey. What's up?" I smiled.

"I just wanted to say, great job last night." He nodded.

"Great job?"

"You know, with the whole kiss thing. At first, I didn't think you realized Ginny was watching from her window, but you catch on quick." He winked at me. "I'll catch you later."

I stood there, staring at the ground. It was all a show for Ginny. "Hey, what's up with you and Marcus?"

"Hm?" I turned to see Brodie. "Oh, hey Brodie. Uh, I'm not sure. Nothing, really."

"Oh. That's cool." He nodded before walking away.

I stood in place for a minute, confused, before walking back to my seat next to Abby. "Oh my god, Brodie totally likes you." Max laughed.

"What? No way." I shook my head.

"No fair. You've got Brodie and Marcus falling for you." Norah pouted.

"Um, hi." Jordan spoke up from beside her.

"Right, we've gotta get to class." Hunter pulled Jordan up by his shirt.

"What?"

"Girl talk, man." Hunter laughed, walking away with Jordan.

"Hey, MAN!" A girl waved, walking in through the doors.

"People call us MAN. Maxine, Abby, Norah, because we're inseparable."

Abby sighed, standing up. "Samantha has been trying to weasel her way in for years, but she is the definition of second tier."

"Guys, with Ginny and Amar, we can be GAMAN." Abby laughed, before dragging Norah and Max away to talk.

I stood up, walking over to Ginny. "Wonder what that's about. Oh wait, I know. They don't want us in their clique."

"That's crazy. They love us."

"I'm Samantha." I jumped, turning to see the same girl next to us.

"I'm Amar. This is Ginny." I smiled, pointing to Ginny.

"They can be really cliquey." I nodded.

"Can they?" I looked to Ginny.

"So, like, what are you guys? You're so... exotic looking." Before I could answer, someone bumped into me. I turned to see Marcus.

"See you tonight, amor." I sighed, angrily.

"I- excuse me." I started after him, ready to confront him about what we were, but got stopped by a girl.
