•The Rave• Word count 1421
"You're throwing a rave?" Adelina asked Riven in disbelief. "Yeah..... and you are invited.... exclusive party of course.... no first years will be there." Riven says as a mischievous smile is stuck on his face. He hands her a flyer as he waits for her reaction. "You're hosting it on campus? The headmistress will literally kill you if she finds out." Adelina warns him. "That's why I picked the night where she will conveniently be hunting for the burned one." Riven tells her in a cocky tone. "Why do you want to throw a rave anyone?" Adelina asked him curiously.
"Glow in the dark crap sounds cool.... plus the thought of you covered in glow paint sounds pretty interesting to me." Riven tells her flirtatiously. Adelina rolls her eyes as she crumples up the paper and throws it in his face. Riven laughs as she walks away from him. "So you'll be there tonight?" Riven yells at her in a hopeful tone. She stops walking as she turns around to look at him. "I got nothing better to do!" She yelled back in response. A smile formed on Rivens face as he watched Adelina walk away from him. He knew he should be excited to party with many girls tonight but he only cared if Adelina would be there. "Are you going to the rave tonight?" Sky asked Adelina curiously as she walked through the halls. "I told Riven I would." Adelina replies softly. "And I would kill her if she didn't go.... it's going to be the night of our lives!" Stella yelled in an excited tone.
Later that night after Stella and Adelina got dressed they headed to the rave. They walked down the many stairs of Alfea. They could hear the sound of music getting louder and louder the further they went down the stairs. Adelina felt herself take a deep breathe as her eyes scanned the party. The music was very loud as the sound blasted through her ears. The whole room was illuminated with glow in the dark lights. Everyone's outfits were glowing due to the lights and they were all dancing. Adelina noticed all of the guys were shirtless with glow in the dark paint across their chests. "I see Sky! I'll see you later!" Stella yells over the music as she starts walking into the crowd. Adelina was overwhelmed by the amount of people crammed into one room. "You look like you could use a drink." A familiar voice yells over the music. Adelina felt herself sigh in relief as her eyes landed on Riven. He had no shirt on and had cool designs painted across his chest and face making his body glow. Rivens eyes scanned her body as he gave her a confused look.
"Your shirt doesn't even glow with the lights!" He yells at her in disbelief. Adelina smiled as she pulled the shirt off of her head revealing her neon pink bra. Rivens eyes widened as a smirk grew on his face. Riven felt like his heart was beating uncontrollably as he stared at Adelina. She had bright pink lipstick on her lips that was glowing in the dark causing his eyes to linger there for a moment. "You look hot! I could help you take that off." Riven tells her in a flirtatious tone as he gestures to her bra. Adelina scoffs at him as she shakes her head sharply. Riven quickly forces his eyes away from her as he looks back at the party. "Let me get you a drink and some paint!" Riven yells over the music. Adelina feels him grab her hand as he leads her through the crowd. He handed her a cup filled with alcohol that she quickly chugged. Riven grabbed a paintbrush from some random girl. "What do you want me to draw?" He asked Adelina curiously. "Surprise me." Adelina replies in a carefree tone. Riven started painting her stomach with cool designs that glowed against her body. He then started painting her chest causing his breathe to get caught in his throat. He tried to pay attention to his drawing but the girl in front of him was too breathtaking. He hated how attracted he was to her. Riven quickly pulled his eyes away from her and set the paintbrush down. Adelina chugged another cup of alcohol as she screamed in excitement.
"Let's dance!" Riven yelled as he grabbed her hand. Riven led her to the dance floor as he started moving his body to the music. The alcohol was already taking its affect on both of them as they moved to music. Riven kept his eyes on Adelina as she started moving her hands down her body as she danced. She ran her hand through her hair as she started it around. The paint on her body seemed to illuminate everything about her. Her smile was glowing in the lights as she looked up at Riven and Riven couldn't help but smile at the sight of her. Adelinas eyes scanned his body sending chills through her skin. She couldn't help but admire how hot he looked. Adelina moved closer to Riven as she placed his hands on her waist. Her back was to him as she pressed her body against him. Rivens heart stopped as he held his breath. Adelina started to move her hips to the rhythm of the music. Riven released the breathe he was holding and moved his hips in sync with her as he stared at her in amazement. He never knew he could find someone so beautiful.
Adelina turned her body around so she was now facing Riven. Their eyes locked. They both couldn't seem to look away. Rivens hands remained on Adelinas hips as they continued to dance to the music. Time seemed to stop as Riven took a step closer to Adelina. They both had stopped dancing as their ears seemed to tune out the music and the noise of the people around them. They both took deep breaths because they were tired and sweaty from the amount of dancing they had just done. Riven placed one of his hands on Adelinas cheek causing her to flinch at his touch. Adelina couldn't look away from his eyes that seemed to be illuminated by the paint on his face. Riven stared at her wondering how on earth someone could be so beautiful. He wondered if she knew she had such an affect over him. Rivens eyes flickered to her lips as he felt an unceasing urge to kiss her. Her lips were glowing against the lights and he couldn't take his eyes off of them. Adelina could practically hear her heart pounding uncontrollably as Riven started to lean in. Adelina closed her eyes as she felt Riven place his lips on hers. At first his kiss was soft and gentle but the moment she started to kiss him back they both started kissing each other with an uncontrollable desire. Butterflies flooded through Adelinas stomach as she continued to kiss Riven. Rivens hands roamed her body as he continued to kiss her.
Adelina quickly pulled away as she realized they were in the middle of the dance floor. She took a deep breathe as the noise around her became loud again. She looked around at all of the people who were still dancing as if nothing had happened. Her eyes landed on Riven who was staring at her. He looked like he wanted to say something but he couldn't even open his mouth. Adelina replayed the previous moment in her mind. He kissed her and she liked it. She had never kissed anyone like that before. She felt someone grab her arm snapping her out of her trance. "Adi! There you are!" Stella yelled over the music. Adelina quickly turned to face her. Adelina still looked very out of it as her eyes scanned the room. "Are you alright?" Stella asked her softly. Stellas eyes landed on Riven who's lips were covered in neon pink lipstick. "You kissed him!" Stella yells in disbelief. Adelina turned to look at Riven but he had already disappeared in the crowd. "I just want to go to bed.... I'm really drunk." Adelina mumbles softly. She knew she wasn't that drunk and she knew that she wanted to kiss Riven and that it wasn't the alcohols fault. She hated herself for wanting him but she couldn't stop the way he made her feel.
