"is that Carrick's daughter? The one you have that crush on?"
"okay Bruno, can you say it any bloody louder?"
"so it is, she broke up with that boyfriend, I was talking to Carrick about it the other day, well he was talking"
"im aware, we haven't actually spoke in a few years, the boyfriend was toxic, she lost most of her friends that were male"
"just be careful luke, she's broke. She's clearly been through alot with this ex, just be her friend for now"
I looked back at her as she was sitting her dad and catching her dad's eye, she really was the apple of it, the smile that appeared on his face, as she waved in his direction.
It broke my heart when she told me we couldn't talk any more due to Tom being insecure about the friendship, not just me and her shared but others too. Unfortunately for me, I had a crush on her since day one. I just never had the guts to tell her.
She looked sad, her eyes were dull, she looked liked she hadn't actually slept well in days.
Tom broke her. Treated her like crap, never seemed to have a good word to say about her, when I did meet him the vibes from the lad weren't good, but she seemed so happy, I supported her decision.
