Pt 1 Chapter 3 - The unknown past

Y/n's POV

A week passed, I had settled in nicely and my nightmares had calmed down thanks to the girls. Wanda and Nat had begun training me, I wanted to join on missions but I really wasn't ready yet. Clint had gone home to his wife and kids and everything was peaceful. Tony was still looking into my powers, confused as to wear they came from. He called me into his work shop. I took a seat on one of the swiveling chairs, spinning around, looking at all of his things, it was fascinating. "L/n, concentrate." He barked at me. He was looking at something on his hologram screen, there were lots of pictures and writing. "When did you say your birthday was, well when you were found."

"24th of October 1993. Why?"

"Well I think I might have an idea about your past." As he said that Rohdey came through the door. 

"Hello." He said casually, taking a seat. 

"Hi?" I replied. He took a seat across the room and began listening to Tony explaining.

"Well during the incident at Sokovia we managed to get some extra files on different experiments. After we learned about the Maximoff twins." Twins? I thought but didn't say anything and let him continue. 

"We assumed they weren't the only ones experimented on. Turns out in 1993 Hydra did a similar experiment on babies. They stole 5 babies from Sokovia. Only one survived the experiments but after a month or so it showed no sign of the experiment being successful so Hydra abandoned it in a forgeign country. That way no one would be able to find it. Except the thing is Hydra used Loki's scepter to give Wanda her powers after the battle of new york. So how did they have the same powers in 1993."

"Well I was found with bruised and bloody patches on the backs of my hands and stuff. All the places drips are put. So if it was me, then maybe they put me on drips with something."

"Perhaps but, only the sceptre can give the powers. If it were a liquid then there would be more, and probably a success. Are you sure you didn't get kidnapped in 2012?" Tony questioned, scratching his chin as he looked at me. 

"No, but we went on a month's trip to help build houses in Sokovia. Dad loved to do charity work."

"And there's no chance Hydra could have kidnapped you?! That's where Wanda got her powers!" I rolled my eyes, I had already answered that question. This was all very shocking and too coincidental. Tony brought up a picture of a staff with a blue glowing stone. 

"And you've never seen this before?" I shook my head no. He hit his fist on the table. 

"Hey! Calm down! Does it even matter?" I looked the man dead in the eye, I wanted to know as well but if it was a mystery then it was a mystery. 

"Ok, i'm sorry. I just want to know, it's kinda important to know if they did it to anyone else. You were either experimented on as a baby or there's a section in your memory missing."

"Alright. Well if that's all I'm going." I got up and strutted out of the room. I was incredibly confused but I tried to ignore it. I simply need to accept the fact that I had powers, maybe from Hydra maybe from something when I was a baby. Who knows. But Tony had annoyed me either way, so what if there were others.

I went to the main room and slumped on the sofa. No one was there, it was really quiet. I felt angry, I could have gone and trained but instead I chose something safer. Ice cream. On the fridge was a note that I hadn't noticed. 

"Urgent mission, not too dangerous but need to go asap. Be back but 5 hopefully. From Wanda ❤" I looked at the note wondering what they could be doing. Surely it wasn't a small mission if Nat, Vision, Wanda, Steve and Sam had all gone. I took the moment to get in some relaxation.
