Fish-man Island

"Wow.." Everyone gasped out in shock seeing the sea life and the beauty underwater. "Y/N you use to live like this.." You nodded as they all stared amazed. "This is nothing like being above ground. I never knew how beautiful the sun and grass were. You get use to this after a while." Usopp snorted at your exclamation, "I don't think I'll ever get use to this. You are so lucky." You flinched slightly at his comment. "I guess..." Life underwater wasn't always as nice as this. You'd find empty beer bottles and plastic here and there. Then again your home itself was a little bit of a wasteland. It could never compare to this beauty here. The only times you'd see this part was when you would go wait for your father. Hoping the lights, your mother told you about, would come and he would save you. You'd tell him how your mother died and he would wrap you up in a warm hug telling you it was okay now. Usopp noticing you became slightly distant put his hands up. "Y/N I didn't meant too-" "It's okay Usopp this really is beautiful.." You smiled seeing everyone still amazed. "Luffy..I need to ask for something. I don't wanna be self-fish and I understand if you say no. I'll take my leave if you do." Everyone stood quiet at your words. Luffy got a serious look on his face before nodding, "Okay what do you need to ask?" You took a deep breathe wanting your nerves to go away. Everyone's eyes had been on you. Zoro hoped you would finally say what had been going on prior to you guys separating. He couldn't forget the man who had tried to take you. "Captain...I-I need help. A bad man. The same man who took my mother away and well h-hurt me...is after me again. He wants to kill me. I don't- I don't wanna die." You screwed your eyes shut waiting for Luffy's response. You were fully ready to pack your bags and go if he did not want to help, or have you as a risk to everyone else. You thought that they were more important than you. "Y/N. Look at me." You shook your head scared of what he would say. "Look at me. Captains orders!" You sighed before staring at Luffy who had a big smile on his face. "I was waiting for you to ask shishsi~" He laughed putting his straw hat on you. "We're your nakama and I refuse to let anyone on this ship die. It's my duty as a Captain!" You nodded teary eyed relieved that he agreed, "Luffy..Thank you.." He laughed pulling you into a tight hug.

Zoro had pulled you away to the crows nest wanting a moment in private with you. Once alone, Zoro pulled his shirt down. "Woah there wait up-" You jumped back as Zoro pulled his sword out. Smirking you made a water sword staring at him, "Oh you wanna see how far we've grown against each other?" He nodded. "It's been a while since we spared." You nodded before quickly throwing a water ball at him. He easily avoided it running to attack you. Jumping back from his blade, you bent back quickly wrapping your leg around his neck bringing him down with you. "OOF!!" You both yelped out. Zoro grunted as you flipped him over straddling with a water dagger against his neck. "You always hold back and I always win instantly." He smiled before dropping his swords and putting his hands on your waist, "You really think I don't have an ulterior motive for you winning all the time." You gasped smacking his chest and getting off. He laughed pulling you down to straddle him. "So you wanna tell me how you lost your eye?" "Intense training wanna tell me how you got that scar on your nose?" "Also intense training." You both smiled. "So you wanna tell me about these people after you." You sighed before rolling off of him. "I know I need to tell everyone...to be honest I'm more scared of opening up then facing him. Once I do...there's no turning back. Your lives will be on the line with mine-" "And we're fully aware of that. You don't gotta tell me the details but you do not worry about us. We're your friends. You've had no problem putting your life on the line for us. Why would we deny helping you?" Your sniffle cut him off. Zoro sighed sitting up and putting his robe on. He put his swords away and pulled you up to sit on his lap. "Your okay." Zoro reassured you. All the pressure from before melted away. You could not let them die and they would not let you die. Gripping onto his shoulders, you whispered tiny thank you's while rubbing your nose against his neck. The scent of steel and a wood. You had missed him more than he knows. "We should head out back to everyone else. I missed everyone." He nodded. Standing up you both moved to walkout, Zoro grabbed your hand before you could walk to the latch pulling you against him. "What's up now?-" He cut you off pulling you into a small gentle kiss. "There now it feels right." You smiled before a certain memory of a marine officer popped up in your head again. "Zoro I gotta be completely honest with you about something that happened-" "Zoro!!! Y/N!!! GET DOWN HERE!!" Luffy yelled out excitedly. Zoro grabbed your hand wanting to hear what you had to say before, "I'll tell you later, but Zoro real quick what are we?" Zoro smiled, "Your my lov-" "Guys!!!" Luffy whined cutting you both off again. "We're coming!!" You yelled climbing down. "What's going on?" You asked before seeing Usopp point at something. "Something is gaining on us!" Usopp yelled out. It was a ship with a giant sea cow pulling it. "Wait isn't that...MOOMOO!!??" Nami yelled out in shock. It was the sea cow the arlong pirates had owned. "Well then..." You muttered out. "I'll get rid of it!" You quickly jumped out into the water staring at the ship. "Water....CANON!!!" Moomoo grew scared seeing Luffy and Sanji he didn't even notice the canon you had released. It hit them straight on sending them flying. You swam back entering the bubble landing in the ship. "Okay they're gone-" "That was so cool!!!!" Luffy yelled out, stars in his eyes as he stared at you in amazement. "I forgot you could breathe underwater." Robin smiled as you smirked. "It always surprises people." Usopp and Chopper laughed before gasping. "I am Caribou!!! And me and my men are here to attack and overthrow the Straw Hats!! Men introduce yourself!!" A man who had jumped on the ship yelled out. You all stared at him. Caribou opened his eyes realizing his men had left him behind. "Oh my bad...haha I guess I'm on the wrong ship-" You quickly tied him with water vines. Franky picked him as he began begging not to be throw overboard. "Those guys use me you see as a bullet catcher only!! Please let me stay on here for a bit." You all glared at him before sighing, "Fine, but Y/N keep him tied up." Luffy ordered out. "Got it. You try to escape and I drown you within seconds." You glared as he gulped nodding quickly. Luffy had asked Nami if there were anyway to get to Fish-man Island faster. "No there isn't we're on the best course. I'd say to start putting coats on more its gonna get colder." Everyone nodded, "Deep underwater there are secret currents that are naked to the invisible eye that will push the boat." Brook explained.
