My head hurt so bad, but the food was about to be here, so no need to complain. The pain killers are about out of my system, and I can't remember a thing from the point of walking into the kitchen and announcing that I was hungry.

All of us were in the living room, including Naomi, Carter, Matteo, and Noah. I was leaning against Lucifer's chest and sitting in between his legs. A blanket was covering us, and everyone was considerably quiet.

I was put on literal bed rest, so Naomi said a movie marathon was set in place. I agreed partly because I had already sat down with Lucifer, and he was so warm. Lucifer and I changed clothes after ordering food also.

Now I had sweatpants on with one of Lucifer's hoodies that I stole. He hasn't noticed yet since it was dark in the living room. His hands were under the hoodie touching my bare skin and rubbing circles on my torso.

When his hands started traveling upwards, I started to regret not wearing a bra. Those death traps are not meant to be worn, especially outside the house. Somewhere during the middle of the movie, Lucifer's hands just ended up on top of my chest, not even saying a thing.

Thank God the doorbell rang, and I got up to get the food. I opened the door to see a boy who looked around my age and had a work uniform on. He had the holders that have the pizza in it with boxes of brownies on top of it and a grocery bag that I assume to have my drink in it.

I felt kind of bad because we had a lot of food, and he only had two hands. Taking the money that Dad left on the table in the middle of the entryway for the pizza, I gave him the money.

Some of the money fell through his fingers, making me step outside and pick up the money for him. I didn't realize how close we were when I handed it to him until a throat cleared behind us. I looked over my shoulder to see Lucifer with a raised eyebrow glaring at the boy.

Is he fucking serious? Barbaric asshole. I think I said it out loud when the pizza delivery guy let out a chuckle. I gave him a small grin and took the boxes from on top of the holder, and then the bag of soda dangling off my fingers of the hand that had the boxes.

I would accomplish holding everything when a hand made its way around me and grabbed the several pizza boxes before I could. I know I should say thank you for helping, but he only did that so he could be closer to us.

I think I'm just a difficult person sometimes because everything people do sometimes annoys the hell out of me. Well, more than sometimes, I guess. Lucifer yelled throughout the house that pizza was here, so everyone made themselves a plate.

The whole family was here, which made me think of extended family. Did I have grandparents? Huh, never mind, I don't want to know.

For the rest of the night, we watched movies until about ten o'clock. I had an energy drink right before everyone went to bed, making me not even the least bit tired. Lucifer carried me upstairs because I refused to get up due to my legs that fell asleep.
