𝑬𝑽𝑰𝑬 𝑷𝑬𝑹𝑬𝒁 𝑪𝑶𝑵𝑭𝑰𝑫𝑬𝑵𝑻𝑳𝒀 𝑨𝑫𝑴𝑰𝑹𝑬𝑫 𝑯𝑬𝑹𝑺𝑬𝑳𝑭 𝑭𝑹𝑶𝑴 𝑯𝑬𝑹 𝑩𝑨𝑻𝑯𝑹𝑶𝑶𝑴 𝑴𝑰𝑹𝑹𝑶𝑹 as she listened to the quick beat of The Pussycat Doll's Don't Cha on repeat, the sassy song being her go-to on the mornings she wanted to feel a little extra fearless and self-assured. Though the girl was quite already all of these things, her ego being as inflated as a hot-air balloon on a good day, it would not help to get a miniature boost as she was getting ready to support her best friend, Joey with her recent protest━━ The dress-code. Sure, it would be wrong for the tan girl to state that the school's demands for the clothing worn between girls and boys were completely unequal, misogynistic and sexist but quite frankly, Evie was tired of the white girl seemingly ignoring the more significant things for the less important causes.

Though maybe it might seem like a privileged state of mind, the young Latina's interest in politics was quite small in comparison to her dear friend who spent her days listening to podcasts and television segments about public affairs. No, she was not one of those self-identified Liberal girls that would repost one singular photo about all sorts of inequality from Instagram's Feminist page and then proceed to date an openly horrible boy with all traits of the people they spoke out against. Anyone with two well-functioning eyes could see that George did have his many questioning moments but weighing with the other girls she knew, Evie certainly did have some standards. Quite frankly, she wasn't that much of a hypocrite for God's sake !

The girl did not want to go to school at this very moment. It was early and her sleep was cut off quite short due to the noise her mother made in the kitchen as she got ready to go to work during the early little hours of the morning. After taking a long hot shower in the comfort of her own bathroom, the room held the scent of fresh citrus as she had applied her favorite shampoo onto her long silky hair. Evie had just taken the silly-looking charcoal facemask off of her tan face while she put on her favorite black top that she had purchased from a cute little boutique in town a few months earlier. It was slightly see-through but she loved it as it showed skin which is something she found quite important in her outfits. This time, she didn't wear a bra underneath due to her support for Joey therefore the risk for getting dress-coded was quite higher. Fortunately, Evie Perez wasn't one to care about the opinions of perverted teachers.
