Phoenix Haynes
Peter and I jogged up a flight of stairs in the hotel, heading for our rooms to avoid being interrogated about where we'd been.
Ned walked towards Peter's room in a bathrobe, completely oblivious that we were about to run into him, and he turned to face us.
"Guys, oh my God!" He exclaimed, and did his secret handshake with Peter.
"Hey." I said, and Ned pulled peter in for a hug.
"Hey."
"Dude, we almost died." Ned breathed out, and Peter nodded, pulling away from the hug.
"It’s fine, it’s fine."
"Hey, guess what?" I asked, and Ned looked at me.
"What's up?"
"We're done with the mission."
"Dude, the trip’s over." Ned said, making Peter look at me in shock before turning back to Ned.
"Wait, what?"
"There’s monsters coming out of the ground everywhere we go, of course our parents would want us home." Ned said, and Mr Harrington came out of a hotel room, on the phone someone's parents.
"Please, don’t put me on hold." He said, and widened his eyes when he saw us.
"Oh kids! You’re not dead, oh, my God." He breathed out, pointing at us.
"Yes good, stay here. Don’t die." He rambled, turning to look at Ned.
"Put some clothes on, we’re booking flights!"
Mr Harrington walked away quickly, and Mr Dell walked around the floor, heading to his room.
"We came for science, we’re leaving because of witches." He said to me, gesuring around the hotel.
"Welcome to the new Dark Ages."
Mr Dell left us in the hallway, and I grabbed Peter's hand, looking at Ned.
"What the hell is going on?"
"We're going home in the morning." He said, and Peter look devastated.
"No, no, no." He mumbled, looking up at Ned, as if pleading with me.
"But all the Elementals are gone!"
Betty opened her door, looking at us before calling for Ned from her hotel room.
"Ned!"
"Coming, sweetie." He responded, giving us a sad smile before leaving to go to Betty’s room.
Flash opened his hotel room door, staring us down.
"Hi, can you guys keep it down? I’m live-streaming." He said, making me roll my eyes as he left Peter and I alone.
"Sometime I wanna tell him you're Spider Man." I said, making Peter smile at me in confusion.
"Why?"
"He'd respect you more." I shrugged, and MJ walked up to us.
"Hey guys, haven't seen you much this trip." She said nonchalantly, and I smiled at her.
"Yeah, sorry about that MJ." I said, but she didn't seem too bothered by it.
"It's cool, wanna go for a walk?" She asked, and Peter nodded while I smiled at her.
"Of course, let's go." I said, and the three of us walked down to the Charles Bridge, enjoying the night sky.
"You know they used to execute people on this bridge." MJ said, and I looked at her in excitement.
