"I told you I didn't hear anything. And I didn't say anything to anyone." I say sternly, in a much more confident tone than the last time I saw him.
"Oh and I'm supposed to believe you?" He furrows his eyebrows, looking at me as if he's talking to someone with 0 brain cells. Wow he really does know how to humiliate someone with just a facial expression.
"Yes." I naively reply.
"I'm not an idiot. I know you heard something you weren't suppose to. And guess what? Now I have the DEA asking about me." He acts as if he's stating the obvious which he isn't.
"As in Drug..?" He cuts my question off by nodding, still looking angrier than ever.
"Do you seriously think it was me?" I slightly laugh, still whispering since we're in a library. "The entire school knows that you're a drug dealer? And you think, out of all people, it's me who has something to do with the DEA after you?" I scoff in annoyance.
"It's weird they wanna know all about me 2 days after I catch you being a nosy prick, no?" I gasp at his rudeness.
"Well it wasn't me. So let me go." I try to pass through him but he traps me, keeping me here against my own will.
"You're going to stay with me until I find out if you're lying or telling me the truth." He demands. I am not going anywhere with this man.
"What? No, I'm not going anywhere with you."
I shoot him a glare, pressing my hands against his chest in an attempt to push him away. But to my surprise, he remains immovable. Damn, he's incredibly strong."You know exactly what I'm capable of, don't piss me off. Otherwise I will throw you over my shoulder." His irritation evident in a scowl, he rakes his fingers through his deep, brown hair.
"What do you want me to tell my parents huh? I don't even know who you are. You're absolutely shambled in the head if you think I will stay with a stranger. I'm not just going to do whatever you tell me-" Without warning, I find myself hoisted into the air, only then realizing that Nolan has thrown me over his shoulder. I struggle to break free, but his grip feels unyielding, as if he's a solid, impenetrable wall.
My nose detects the scent of his cologne, and I can't help but take a long sniff. He smells heavenly good. It's so strong as if it was made for him, only.
"Put me down right now. I swear to god I will scream." My legs thrash in the air, but it only causes him to tighten his hold. There is no way I'll be able to get off of his shoulder, he's too strong for me and also really stubborn.
It slips out of my mind that actually we are in a library but I know if I scream, it wouldn't end well for me at all. So I decide not to do anything, I give up trying to get down because I'm well aware that wouldn't be happening any time soon.
He strides through the library's hidden back doors, carrying me over his shoulder. We reach the stairs, and effortlessly he runs down them, as if I weigh absolutely nothing.
"Where do you think you're taking me? This is actually crazy!" I exclaim, praying a teacher catches us so I can get away from him. He's so much worse than I expected.
"You should've kept your mouth shut. I warned you, didn't I?" He replies, opening the exit door to the car park with one hand while the other is still draped around right under my ass.
