To say y/n was embarrassed would be an understatement.

She was dying inside.

The girl had caught a whiff of something that smelled tasty and followed the smell.

It led her to a ship which she boarded and explored, unaware that her travel partners were freaking out due to her sudden disappearance.

Once she found her way up from the lower parts of the ship, she realized it'd set sail and Liyue Harbor was getting farther and farther away.

Here's a little something something to know about our dear Hilichurl Queen.

She gets sea sick very easily.

The captain of the ship freaked out when they found what they thought was a small child, curled up on the ground and crying.

However, it was just y/n.

A sea sick y/n, crying hysterically.

Thankfully, they managed to turn the ship back around and return y/n to her worried blond friend who would not let go of her hand. Even now after y/n had stopped crying and throwing up.

"Welcome to the Jade Mystery, my good friends! Would you like to try your luck betting on jade? This could be your lucky day!" the man at the little set up exclaimed, "It's cheap, fun, and who knows, you might just strike it rich!"

"Betting? No, no, we're here for... um, what was it again?" Paimon questioned.

"Noctilucous Jade, of radiant grade at the very least." Zhongli reminded the pixie.

"Radiant grade Noctilucous Jade? I see, you're not a tourist. My apologies. I have some here for your perusal..." the store owner exclaimed then presented three pieces of what y/n thought were crystals, "What do you think? The Jade Mystery is an old name in the jade business. Just look at that wonderful quality! Rex Lapis doesn't often bless us with such finery. Go on, pick whichever one you like!"

"These three pieces really do look pretty, not like the ones you usually dig up..." Paimon pointed out, "But how do we pick? Should we just grab one and go?"

"I doubt a man who makes his living off betting on stones can be trusted so lightly." Aether commented and y/n gave a him a curious look.

"Does that mean he's a liar?" the girl asked and Aether smiled, patting her head.

"Not necessarily." he replied.

"Very good. It seems you have learned some tricks of the trade." Zhongli complimented and y/n tilted her head, thinking hard.

'The... trade...?'

"What do you think, Mr. Zhongli? How should we pick from these pieces of Noctilucous Jade?" Paimon inquired, turning to face the tall man.

"Oh? You want me to decide? That is fine as well." Zhongli hummed, "If it were me, the answer would be simple."

"And that would be...?"

The man turned to face the store owner before stating simply, "I'll take them all, boss."

"Oh, you act with such panache, good sir! I always knew you were not a man of ordinary caliber!" the store owner exclaimed and y/n furrowed her brows.
