i made a whole chapter about this, but fannon gon sucks.

—kurapika is not motherly, he is not mamapika. he doesn't act like a parental figure to gon and killua at all, he was barely even there for most of the arcs. bisky is more much
more of a parental figure than kurapika. besides, kurapika wasn't even there when gon was on his deathbed.

—leorio's character is more interesting than just being a money grubbing, greedy, and a pervert

—i really hate the chrollopika ship, or whatever it's called.
that's shipping kurapika with his abuser, the man who brutally massacred his entire family(with the help of the phantom troupe, but he was the one who ordered them to do it) . the man who is the cause for kurapika's intense rage and sadness. chrollo is probably the man kurapika loathes the most. it just seems so weird to me.

—canary deserves more appreciation! she risked so much for killua, and she truly cares about him a lot and has made that clear in so many ways

—although i'm not a huge fan of hisoka, i wish people would stop watering his character down to just liking gon
