*Buckle up, my queens! 💅*

"Guys!"

Your head snapped up as you heard Kirishima yelling out to you, his figure appearing out over the hedges to your left. Bakugou huffed gently and looked away, not being able to help but feel annoyed at the sudden distraction.

"Kirishima?" He smiled gently, running up to you. "Hey! We couldn't find you guys anywhere, but Todoroki figured you two would be in the most secluded place there was. He knows you pretty well, huh Y/N?"

You smiled and nodded gently, crossing your arms and standing up from your position on the bench. "Yeah I guess, why did you come looking though? Is everything alright?" He laughed and waved his hands gently, nodding quickly as he noticed your slightly protective manner.

"Yeah of course! It's just, the fireworks are starting soon and we're all looking forward to it. Come on!" Your eyes widened as his hand wrapped around your wrist and he pulled you along, a small growl leaving your throat as you stumbled along behind him.

Bakugou snickered by the action, making you roll your eyes in annoyance. You were quickly dragged out of the garden, passing underneath the large vine arches and immediately being met by excited cries and the constant conversation of the festival.

The once background noise quickly turned louder and louder by the second, ringing in your ears like harsh waves and pushing out the thoughts that had once settled in your mind. You seethed in annoyance, the loud chattering quickly working to give you a slight headache.

You managed to yank your hand away from the red had and swallowed harshly, Kirishima turning around to meet your gaze with a concerned look. He shuddered and turned back around as Bakugou stared daggers at him before looking cross at you and huffing gently, noticing your now worsened mood.

With a soft sigh, Kirishima shook his shoulders and continued to make his way through the crowd, weaving in between groups and idle people to move closer to where the class had gathered. You felt Bakugou wall up beside you, the male acting as a shield from the noise.

You gave him a soft 'thank you', only barely being heard by the ash blonde before being drowned out. He simply gave you a nod and continued moving, following Kirishima.

After a few minutes of making your way across the festival grounds, you managed to reach the cliff in which the class had all gathered around, standing behind the railing on the edge and engaging in idle chatter.

You checked your watch, narrowing your eyes as the time read 7:15. The fireworks should start in fifteen minutes, that's what Midoriya told me anyway. God, this social thing is exhausting, and the noise has just got worse since then. Maybe I should just head back to the dorms with Bakugou, it's not worth being here anyway.

Your thoughts were interrupted when a bunch of your classmates began shouting out your name, making you flinch and bite your lip in annoyance. Bakugou growled, small explosions leaving his palms. "Shut up you damn extras!"

You moved forward, watching as they each gave you small smiles. You headed directly for Todoroki, the half and half male seeming to light up as he set eyes on you, happy his best friend was now there.

"Hey, Shoto." He smiled, nudging you softly as the wind blowing through your hair, the male's eyes dragging out over the city on the horizon. "Are you alright? You seemed pretty upset earlier, is the noise still getting to you?"

You sighed softly, shrugging your shoulders in slight annoyance. "Yeah, I guess so. It's just, the class seemed so excited about this whole thing, especially the fireworks. This has been all everyone could talk about for weeks. I feel bad hating it so much, I was actually thinking of leaving earlier."
